Run airs on world 16. Just go to the air altar with 25 UNNOTED regular ess (not the new member's preferred PURE ess) and trade with a blue or black robed person. You will recieve loads of airs or up to 2.5k per trade. If you do not like their offer just trade a different person. That is the fastest money maker on f2p that I know of other than merchanting or possibly pking.

mining essence used to be the best way of making money in f2p, as all the members would want to buy it so that they didnt have to mine it themselves. Now with the introduction of pure ess and regular ess, this is no longer the case. Iron and coal still have good value, so that is your best bet for making money.
