I'm trying to make a mud rune for the new quest, I have my earth tally, earth runes, and pure ess, but I can't get into the water altar area. Can someone tell me how? Do I need a water tali too?

Yes, you need a water tally (or tiara) to get into the altar.

 

 

 

Also don't forget USE THE RUNES (!!!!!) not the ess on the altar, and DON'T JUST CLICK THE ALTAR or you'll just get waters.
