August 26, 200619 yr hey, as you all know, and if you dont, new prayers have been added to free-to-play. the good part is that rangers and mages can now increase their power, the bad part is having to get prayer and risk loosing your pureness please anyone! i need to know, is it a good idea to get prayer lvs if im a pure, is anyone else doing it? i know that every 8 prayer lvs or so u get 1 combat lv, but if u get more ranged or magic and hp before u grow that lv, the prayer lvs necesary to get combat grows. please respond! im yanking my hair over this!
August 26, 200619 yr You're really confusing... Every 8 lvls of prayer, you get a combat lvl. But there is a formula(don't ask me what it is) that uses many manipulated variables. And although you may only have 1 prayer, if you get X amount of defence/prayer lvls then maybe it is only 1 prayer lvl to your next combat lvl. Prayer, defence, and hp are not like range mage and attack/strength. Your combat is either range, mage, or melee based (could be defence or prayer based also but that's to confusing for me) and if your combat is melee based then magic lvls won't effect your combat lvl. Hp, defence, and prayer lvls will always effect your combat, no matter what base it is. I probably just did a horrible explanation, but considering I could hardly read your post I think it's ok... Oh, I'm getting prayer on my range pure. You may want it on a mage pure for smite, but just for the boost prayer it isn't worth it on mage IMO. Melee it is defenitly worth it.
