This may be my fault, but when i go to make the bravery potion i put the snake weed in the vial then i go to put the ardrigal in it and it says "you decide against experimenting", have i done something wrong?

 

 

 

the guide doesn't say i need to do something before making it so im not sure if i've missed a step beforehand.

I think you just have to talk to the tribe guy again. Something similair happened to me, so I just spun the bull-thing again, talked to him once more, then I could make it.

yah you need to talk to him again and go through every option before you can make
