what skills should i train for a melee pure? From what i've heard I shouldn't train def? IS that correct?

There are endless combinations for pures, and there isn't really a certain correct build. In general though, for a melee pure you would want at least 40 att, and as high of str as you can manage. As for def, that is entirely up to you. I'm not sure whether this pure will be p2p or f2p, but if it is f2p, then I'm sure this guide will be of some use to you: Xp3nsiv's guide to f2p pure stats.
