i got stuck to the part where i enter the stronghold, the ice gate won't let me through :cry:

The gate isn't actually part of the troll stronghold quest. The door your looking for isn't up that far. After getting past the 2nd set of thrower trolls near the mountain, turn into that area with several trolls, and head onto the raised trail. Go through one more cave, and then you're inside the stronghold. I'm sorry if that's hard to follow, it's sort of difficult to describe in words.

i managed to move on with the quest!
