I have a f2p melee pure that i'm currently working on. I'm not training defence so the best shield i can wear is iron.

 

 

 

For weapons should i use iron shield and rune scimmy or just bypass the shields small defence bonuses and go for the rune 2h?

A lot of people use scimmy/2h combos. Your choice of kite or not but i wouldn't.
