Devilsdragon
ok, so I recently got WMP 11 and as i turns out, I don't like it. So what I've been trying to do is revert back to WMP 10 but I am unable to install it. I have the installation files for it, but when I run them I get a "A newer version of Windows Media Player is running on your computer. Setup cannont continue." message(or something along those lines. I've tried to delete the old files out of the C: drive but if I try and delete the folder the "This folder is currently being used by one or more running processes."(or something like that >_>). Any suggestions or am I just stuck with WMP11 D=. Also, I have windows XP Pro as my OS if that makes a difference.

zonda
You have to go to the windows site and find out which "hotfix" it was and then uninstall that particular hotfix in the add/remove programs list. It will then roll back the version of WMP you have. I am currently using 9 The only annoying thing about that, is every time you start it it asks you if you want to upgrade, though I'm sure that can be disabled. ... Devilsdragon
Thank you! I no longer have to deal with the abomination that is WMP11(I didn't say that earlier because I wanted to keep an open mind if I was stuck with it =) )
