can somebody make a profit or at least not lose as much money with crafting green hides rather then crafting hard leather since i'm 57 crafting the only thing i can make atm is green d vamps

Mass sales of crafted hides are not easy, most people will want 1 thing, so just alch. You can't really make a profit, but you don't lose much. If you want to make money from crafting, probably the best option is making orbs from glass, battlestaffs when you can and if you can be bothered. Or just spin flax, its reasonable xp.

flax; not too slow and you get a lot of cash from it
