Some Sigs I've made...Got Depth?

Made these 3 sigs today, I know 2 of them don't have text, I tried adding my own but imo it kinda spoilt it.

If you plan on ripping it, whatever, I've already posted these on multiple forums and your just lame if you do.

The last two really don't have much depth.. =P

The top one is best imo. Good depth, the stock is nice. I see you also pulled off a small ripple effect in the first one, nice. But the stock just disappears at the bottom o.O I don't like the size of the sig, but it's just my opinion.

The second one is good, but the idea comes from a sig pack (on dA), which is for learning purposes. I can see you didn't copy that sig completely. But I'm pretty sure you used the same sword effect. The sig is just hectic.. and turning the opacity down on the stock was a bad idea, just makes it more contrasted.

The third one could be easily fixed, just add a brightness/contrast layer and it'd look better. The background seems pretty simple, and the stock doesn't blend well with the bg. (different colors) Although you did a nice job of fading the edges.

Also, add a border on them.. if you have one I can't see it. ;)

Sorry if I sound rude, just trying to give c/c. ;P

I thought it was over-contrasted, heh, thanks. I think I over-did some blending near the bottom I agree.

I haven't referred to anything from deviantART, all I did on that sword was create a new layer and use a soft white 20px brush and go across the edges of the sword (top and bottom) and just change the blending options to screen.

Also, the actual render of Onimusha already came with a bit of light, I just sort of tried to expose it more, here's an original link to the Oniusha render I used...HERE

I'll have a play with the contrast in a bit after this post.

I did try tone the background with the render, I'll try it again after this. For fading the edges I just used the Eraser tool with a brush I had re-sized to around 10px and went softly over the edges with a faint opacity and strength.

I was going to, but...meh, I'll add 1, hehe.

Also, your not being rude at all, I highly appreciate the C/C, many thanks and will re-edit this post if I get the minor changes done before you reply back!

Thanks,
