Ok, so as everyone knows Christmas is comming around and everyone is getting excited. Well I am in the Air Force and I get to go home for christmas and see my significat other for the first time in 4 1/2 months. Well, I want to get her the perfect present, and for once, Iknow what it is! Only problem is I can't find one in my limited budget. So I am asking for anyone and everyone to try and find a Hammered Dulcimer for under 200 dolars that is is good condition so that I can come home with the thing she has wanted for thelongest time in my arms.

Looked like a really original question for this forum so I went out to search for one.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

First some facts to know about it from what I read on professional sites: A hammered dulcimer may cost up to $2000, the less you spend, the lower quality it probably is (which is common sense), so generally the instrument is very expensive.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, I had trouble finding sites that actually sell this item. Many sites recommend you buy it from a craftsman, not a store (since it is almost a novelty instrument).
