It was done first in Adobe Illustrator, especially the gradient, and it took forever to find a good image of the Guthix symbol, in-game (check Guthix Mjolnir, symbol on the top of the hammer part...). The symbol(s) were made using the pen tool, as was the blade of the halberd, and the image was exported to Photoshop for Layer Effect work.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I chopped it up a bit for use in siggies and such, the font is Harrow Solid Bold, for those who are curious. I prefer those fonts for the way the lowercase A is shaped...

Oh, also: Admins, if the file size is too large, or the dimensions are too large, please sent me a PM explaining the size limits for the thread, as the stickied rules don't cover limits outside of siggies.

On the issue concerning the file size, a picture outside of the signature area can be any size, however, if the picture has a little too big a file size, you may wish to put a warning in yout topics title warning people who use 56k modems. :

hmmmmsies, how big is "too big" for a file size? ^.^;; 'cause properties shows me it's roughly 255 kb... i'm guessing the border could be about 100kb, but assumptions lead to mistakes >_>;;

just use common sence really, remember 56kb users, and think if they will need a warning cos it will take ages.
