Part 1

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This part is the hardest until about lvl 40 becasue arrow shafts are all you can make and they only give 5xp. Use this area until you start doing oaks, theres no one here and you get a large stack of arrow shafts (worth 10gp each)

Do this until lvl 5 then u can start shortbows ( there are very limited quests that give fletching xp, so there is no point in trying to find a way to get past this stage, so yes you have to do it #-o ), continue cutting trees in this same spot, until lvl 10, when you start longbows.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also: dont stray north, i nearly died when i started fletching because i wondered north to wildy, just to cut at the dead trees, i was fire blasted but i got away in time :thumbsup:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once you can start making bows i recommend you camp out at seers, heres a map and ive noted all the good points about seers, and why its the capital of fletching:

now u can do longbows again cut in the same spot (absoloutley no point in buying the logs because oaks are too expensive in comparison to willows) until 20. This can take a long time, But stay strong.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your have to cut a few 100 to get to 40 fletching!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To speed this up i would do a clever trick:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Go to a busy f2p world. Go to lumbridge genral store. Thanks to autoers there are loads of oaks and willows in the shop, buy them go to members, then fletch them. Then repeat, here are the amount of logs i mean:

cut oaks around here (north of fally) do this until lvl 40 fletch, along the way obviously switch to oak longs and dont start willows shorts yet because your gonna want to buy them and theyre a waste of cash if theyre just shorts.(also it gets your wcing up)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is a good place because no autoers lurk here, theres 5 oak trees (oak trees give you loads of logs at a time)

now the final part, you should have 40 fletching.Why am i so uptight about 40 fletchinjg, well this is the time when xp comes quick, you get 40xp for a unstrung willows long, but they cost 30gp each. Thats less then 1gp per xp which measn you could get to 99 fletching for about 9mil!!! Now back on topic.... If u have about 300k+ buy as many willows as you can from the forums or draynor on f2p. (they vary from 20gp to 40gp) buy about 17k willows. Also remember dont string them!!! Always listen to music or read these great forums while you fletch otherwise your in for a boring time. (i'll explain why i leave out maples later)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Put them next to each other, and try to fletch about 1.5k of them an hour (thats 60k xp an hour because they give 40xp each) \

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If your cheap then heres where you should cut them:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

USE THE BEST AXE YOU CAN!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dont do yew shorts at 65 unless you want to spend millions. Maples i left out because an unstrung maples long gives 7xp more then a willows long but cost 3 times as much and are hard to find a seller

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Money making:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here is the proven best way to make money at lvl 70 (proven by me that is =P~ )

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- Buy yews 220 each (on forums)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- buy bs 150 each (prices may not be accurate, but are 150 each if you buy 1k at a time)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make them into yew longs (use 1 click banks like duel arena and castle wars)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Seeing as it cost u 370gp for the materials and they sell on the forums for 550 to 600gp each you make about 180- 230gp per yew long strung

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All them alchers you see btw are just there for the magic xp, they dont make money from alching yew longs but they only loose about 70gp if they made the longs themselves (which is better then loosing 300gp- the cost of nats)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tips

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- buy all your stuff on the forums (theyre cheaper)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- to find out how to string properly visit another guide which may focus on it

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- i never to arrows darts or bolts thats why i dont talk about them

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- I only have 64 fletch (enough willows for 70 ) so i dont know too much about magic bows

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- they alch (yew longs) for 760gp each... i think :XD:

 

 

 

 

 

 

CALCULATIONS

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To get from 40 to 70 fletch you need to make: 16,811 willow long (u)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To get from 70 to 99 fletch you need to make: 81,963 yew long (s)

Some pics I would suggest is where you cut the tree. Example is in Draynor cutting willows, makes this guide very pretty, and one way to get to lvl 65 which I think is slower but makes you a profit is go to a F2P world and buy 26 willow logs, because you have knife and about 1k coins. Go to a P2P world and cut and sell back for a higher amount. Been a while and I forget how much I think 4 gp per bow. Hm another thing you could add is pictures of trees / your inventory / essentials. Knife... Good guide but somewhat incomplete. Maybe to 99?
