Need some help with firefox.......

Ok so ive had firefox for a while now and everything was working fine and dandy but after a while i bought an ipod and installed itunes on my computer....now i cannot load any Quicktime associated players in firefox and in the case of this forum site, i cannot view some images(they just appear as blank spaces on the post...no broken icon symbol at all)....id like these to work but i can survive without them...just wonderin if any1 can help me out

Sounds like quicktime's taking over association with some image filetypes. Firstly, reinstall quicktime (you can download a stand-alone installer (ie. no itunes) here.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make sure Firefox is closed while you're installing quicktime.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Next up, try opening quicktime and go to edit -> preferences -> quicktime prefences -> file types -> images and ensure that quicktime isn't associated with PNG, GIF or JPEG images - Firefox ought to be able to handle these just fine itself without quicktime.
