Try using an Ogre Composite bow with Brutal Arrows.

i beat him before using a ddp++, but i was lvl 101 at the time. lol.

 

 

 

of course, it wasn't a good idea since i kept hitting only 1s and it took forever.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

a dragon hally might not be a good idea either since it probably will hit low and slash bash will disappear if you take too long to kill it...

i used a d long at lvl 64 and i killed it easy as pie
