When I go on runescape, my cpu usage increases by more than 50%. Does runescape usually use 110k of mem power? I've been having trouble in fixing that and downloading the latest Java didn't help at all.

Runescape is 100% dependent on CPU usage and has been since RSC. There's not much you can do about it (and it's slightly annoying if your cooler fan makes excessive noise at high CPU usage percentages)
