Kahhl
Ah, I see my topic has captured your intrest, unless of course you are a moderator or admin in which it is your job to check them all. Walk of not now, for this might be of some intrest to you.. if not, then i have successfully wasted a few moments of your life. My thoughts processed into visual form. <=========]|:::::::[) Humor to get us started, like a warmup. A poem from the collection of boredom sideffects. "Black and blacker" :) I was strolling in the lava maze, :o When I came across a stank dark cave, I was taken by surprise, By a fiery demise, Now in Lumbridge were my body lies The boring Stuff   Opinions on Runescape  Anything to gain? First off, we must understand that runescape is itself just a game, not demeaning the game or players, just making sure you got that . Runescape being a game does have values and life lessons you can learn from, as you can in real life but in this case infinite lives, save your life from reality to test on someting else. In runescape, it is much like the world as it is for it has people from this world that think like we do and the element of mystery lingers. We do not know how old the person is in certainty unless personally known, we do not know the gender or intelligence of a person unless one is known to the person. If you get scammed on runescape, you learn that there are indeed people that sucumb to greed and are tempted to take from those who work for their gain, also we realize those who use their wit (or ignorance) to scam us. When the snelms first came into rs, some paid for them with nearly all thier possessions in hopes for fortune and prosperity, but were only met with the smelly shell of a slug on their heads. It seems there are always the scammed and the scammers, and with any change the victems of scam and the victems of greed increase. We can learn from life, like when junk is being sold at a flea market, junk can be sold to the less enlightened on the value of it. Too deep or too shallow? It is difficult for me to see if Runescape was created for the sole purpose of enjoyment and entertainment, or if it was also created to give people a virtual playground to experiment their life learned lessons from. As with anything studied enough, one cannot tell how deep the creator was when making them. The pet rock, was it a joke or the marketing genius of a person sparked with an off beat sence of imagination? Blah blah, blah blah blah I doubt you know me unless you know me.. in which case I guess you are not one I do not or do know that knows me whether or not I know it. Just wondering if anyone else here noticed some of the similarities between Runescape and the real world, some obvious like the romeo quest and Shakepear's Romeo and Juliet, and the desert town of Al Karid, and the arabain city of similer name - can't think of it off hand. Other things i noticed was some truths that Runescape goes by in terms of folklore and mythology (Camelot castle and it's names and such go by mythology). Oh.. I believe i seem to have made you bored with my boring chatter.. i guess you can read this and then go to bed or the next post. Wise words: Happiness is like peeing in your pants... Everyone can see it but only you feel the warmth.
