OceanZephyr
I am on dial up internet ( only available internet where i live) and every once in awhile during the day while doing stuff online, i will get this windows error that says "generic host process for win32 proccesss" and it will disconnect me but the online icon on my task bar beside the date and time, will stay there, and when i double click to open it it will open but close within a second, just kind of flash, and i have to reboot my computer to dial in again... any help or suggestions? I'm running windows xp sp2 as an operating system. I also have my firewall, auto updates and virus protection off, all windows based. ( I have personall ones i use) I have a feeling this might be something to do with my firewall being off, any suggestions would be great. thanks always trading cooked : monkfish and sharks for your raw
assassin_696
I've changed the title of the thread to something more descriptive so you get more help. Feel free to change it to something you might feel is more appropriate. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
Say_Somethin
um... I'm not that great at this.. but from what I know, the "Win32 Process" is the program that runs everyhting on your computer, like exe's and system stuff, so if you getting errors in that, then the dialup your using is upsetting a program, and normally it will list it there, but its doesnt so it must be basic ones that keep your computer running. I don't have a clue how to fix it, but it shouldn't do anything seroius to your computer, just disconnect your dialup.
