  1. You get the character you had in '07 but it's crippled. A lot of the game functionality is not there--things like auto run, sit to recharge energy, click the directional icon to return camera to center, etc. I don't remember RS being that simple in '07, but I suuppose it was. I'm not adverse to change, but something my son said makes a whole lotta sense: If it isn't broken, don't fix it. Jagex did too much too fast, IMHO. If I don't like EOC, why am I forced to use that fighting style? And the map's cluttered now. You have these extremes of too hard and too easy. Too many changes too fast, if you ask me. Just give me a game I can enjoy while jumping screens to make my move in Scrabble. I love the way things fit together iin RS, but Jagex tossed a wrench into the machinery by changing too much too fast. Whereas I used to play daily, I haven't logged into the current game for months, because my heart's just not in it. EOC took the fun out of it for me, but I don't want the lame '07 rollback, either. There must be something in between. Did they really introduce the EOC updtate with no way back? Talk about burning bridges! For shame, Jagex.
  2. At the risk of sounding like a no-life, overachieving, over-efficient player, I will say this: You can't play RS at all without clicking, as far as I know...but you can't play RS well without putting some thought into what you're doing. THAT I'm sure of. Stand in the G.E. and you'll hear players desperately trying to throw their hard-earned gold away on bowls, knives, ropes, bronze arrows, and so forth and so on. All of these items are easily obtainable, but players will stand in the G.E. for thirty minutes, forty minutes, an hour! It never occurred to me to stand in the G.E. when I needed a rope or a bowl, honestly. I used Tip-It to find the item if I didn't know where it was. When you tell a player, 'Talk to Duke Horatio on the second floor of Lumby Castle; he'll give you a free antifire shield,' s/he will often reply, 'Yh, I know,' and go right on spamming for the item. I'd talk to the Duke every time. Call me an efficiency noob if you will.
  3. Hi...I'm a first-time forum user; hope I'm putting this in the correct place! In the Dungeoneering Guide--Dungeoneering Skiils--Herblore the description for Strong Rejuvination potion, made with buckthorn, reads: "Restores Prayer and Summoning points by 10 + 22% of skill level." This is not correct. The potion does not boost either pray or summoning beyond the user's original RS level. Best to all! ~WP~
