hi, i thought i'd seen a table somewhere on here that listed each of the volotile tools and the total amount of xp each lasted for. only now i cannot find it. did i imagine it, or does anyone know where i can find out what each of the tools last for (xp wise)?

i've been meaning to let you know this for about a week, but i didn't work out how to submit stuff about quests till today..... but with the new burthorpe/taverly, you can no longer cut out the back of tenzings hut. infact tenzing is no longer there, i think its a dwarf named freda, or something similar. you now have to travel either across the platue itself and the round pass the troll rock throwers, or use the new agility route unlocked during the new version of death platue. i'm not sure if anything earlier in the quest has changed, as i was halfway through when burthorpe changed! but when i tried to carry it on and the shortcut behind tenzings hut had gone, i didn't know how i was supposed to get there. general denulth just kept asking me didn't i have work to do, he was not very helpful and wouldn't let me repeat the reward from the new death platue untill i had finished the quest. it took a while of headsctratching before i thought to use the new agility route which brings you out near the first agility shortcut that you have to cross. and this only occured to me because dunstan who you claim your final reward from, had told me during the new death platue, that i would have to complete the new death platue to be able to continue troll stronghold.

umm, i tried to make a screenshot... but it turns out i don't actually know how to do that. i couldn't use either reward at all on my under 75 skills. so i ended up using it on magic. i think i got the origianal 50k magic xp and 30k agility when i got given the rewards, but i'm not sure, i wasn't paying too much attention (busy doing a happy dance). i got the 50k magic and 30k agility from the tome when i used it on magic. my agility was only 66. so presumably as you need 75+ magic to do the quest, and as i got the agility reward at only 66 agility (i know its pitifull that its higher than most of my combat stats) it is only the combat stat that you want the xp in that has a minimum requirement of 75 to use.

it came up with a message saying something about removing 1 cold coin from my money pouch when i did it.

i couldn't find anywhere that said it, so i thought i'd let you know. when you get your reward lamp (and early bird tome) you cannot use it on a combat skill under 75. i've tried to use both on range, strength, defense and attack but it told me i couldn't. As they also they don't bank, this leaves me to either carry them around for months, or use both on magic, which i only got to 75 to do the quest!
