Since it is already been bumped. It will be full 3d(yes it already it), as soon as we are able to create holorooms like they had on ST:TNG. It doesn't get any more 3d that is already is. The only different they could do is, change the POV. Instead of looking down, they could change it so you can look thru your characters eyes. But that in itself would require them to make an entirely new set of graphics. Which would just make us have to buy software to play.

There is a simple solution to your problem. Don't duel them. If everybody refuses to duel them, eventually they will either quit, or find some way to get their name changed. I personally just wouldn't deal with them at all. I would put them on my ignore list and leave them there forever. Nobody forces you to duel/trade/listen to them. It is all your choice. If they turn into a problem, you have only asked for it yourself by having anything to do with them in the first place.

If they changed the graphics, then RS would just end up being a game like WoW/EQ2 or any number of the newer MMORPG's that are comming out. You would have to purchase the software, and the price of monthly membership would at the least double. On top of that, they would probably get rid of F2P, which would just cause all the little leeches to cry and whine because it is so unfair. Then you have the problem of all the people who have computers that can't handle better graphics (such as my 6 year old computer). The graphics really don't make the game. If you don't believe that, go play a few of the bigger MUD's out there and talk to their players. Some of them have been playing the same TEXT game for over 10 years. Sure they will play other games, such as games for X-box/PS2/GC and such. But the primary game they play is MUD's. A game can have the best graphics out there and still suck. Without good gameplay, you really don't have a good game. While RS might not have the best gameplay out there, It is good enough to have hundreads of thousands of players playing.

Actually I couldn't care less if there was ever another useless item introduced into the game. They don't improve your stats, they are just dumb items that for some reason little kids seem to want because they think that they make the look "Cool". I would rather see them rain temporary items that give huge boosts to your stats or weapons that do much more damage for as long as you are logged in, and then they go away when you log out or lose connection. Then to make sure they leave the game they can always kick everybody off after the holiday is over.
