Music and Movies Board Rules

As usual, the forum gods have provided us with a set of rules for all users to follow. Please read them carefully before posting.

SEARCH Before Posting!

Always search the boards before posting a new thread: if there's a thread about the subject already, use that and bump it if needed (just writing "bump" because you like the subject is -not- allowed.)

No Advertising

Please use the sticky on the off topic board for any advertising.

No Real Life Pictures

Real life pictures are not allowed to be publicly posted. This is mainly due to user safety and security. Bad things have happened before and we do not want our users to be at any risk. If someone only knows the town you live in and that person has got your real life picture, it's very easy to find you (for either good or bad purposes). This is for your own safety.

No RuneScape Talk!

Use the rest of the forum for any runescape chat, not this board. Any RuneScape threads will be locked or removed.

Do Not Post Any Pornographic Material!

Pornographic material is not allowed on the forums. If you have doubts about certain images/text/etc., simply do not post it! Posting any pornographic stories, pictures or anything else will lead into an IMMEDIATE ban.

Do NOT Discriminate!

Posts that are disparaging toward any religion, race, nation, gender, or sexual orientation are strictly forbidden.

Appropriate Language Required!

Please remember that this forum's language is English so please try to use it at all time. If you post comments in any other languages then you must provide a suitable translation for it in English. If the translation is false and/or says something different than the translation states, action will be taken. Also always try to use proper punctuation (Dots, comma's, capital letters etc). Using too many capital letters is considered as shouting or being generally rude - please avoid this!

Do Not Post Copyrighted Material

Posting of material that is protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner is not allowed.

Respect the Censor

Disciplinary action will be taken against those who evade or abuse the censor in ANY way. Please remember our forums are family-friendly.

No Illegal File Sharing

Do not post any links to p2p sharing programs. Please also do not discuss such programs or illegal file sharing (or anything of that nature).

NEW! Creating Topics For Songs You've Written

This is now allowed, as long as the material is not copyrighted by another artist and it is your own music then you can create a topic for discussion and advertisment.

Lastly...

Have fun and keep it fun for others. We ask that you keep an open mind towards the types of music/films being discussed. Not everyone has the same taste as you. There is no need to verbally assault someone for thinking differently than you do.

OK I realise there is a bit of a problem with people coming to this board just to start arguments. I'd like to start cracking down on this.

I'd like to say now, that you are not welcome here if you do this. Sure mild-intelligent flaming is allowed, but saying something like "your favourite band sucks" will not be tolerated.

If you are caught posting things like this you will be warned firstly and then banned if you continue.

If any users see this happening then please pm a mod/admin so we can deal with it.
