Whats the Fastest method?
Whats the total cost for either?

I doubt you will make money back unless you find a pouch that is cheap to make and sells for lots.

Most pouches sell fairly quickly on the ge, unless they are crashing due to merchers or have an inflated price due to some update(things like fruit bats or lava titans that increased because of the herblore/mining updates), once those peak they wont sell for a while :s. Also be careful not to make pouches like spirit dagganoth/arctic bears where the pouches simply arent worth anywhere near as much as the materials.

As for what to train on, i just made the highest xp thing i could, and never really payed much attention to cost either, sorry

bloated leeched are rather cheap, also cash in any shards to the ogre aswell to save money.
