[Close]Configuring Updates on a VS Express 2010 Project

Featured Replies

Before anyone trolls me how using visual basic, that's the programming language I was taught in the basic course I had to take in college, and I liked it so I decided to make my own app. So far I got the thing working except for one thing: Updates.

When I make a new version, people gotta manually uninstall their current ones, install the new ones, and thus losing all the data the file had stored (The file has DG logs and herb run logs, so the data is lost when installing the new version). I want to know how to configure updates, so when they start up the program, it'll check for them and keep the old logs (Which are saved as .txt files).

Thank you

EDIT: Friend helped me to do it, close :D
