Othelbark's Blog of a Quester

The Quest was fun. I loved sailing and the HG2G reference :D.

Just got 80 prayer today without ever spending a single gp. So i thought id share how i did it:

Levels 1-56/58 (Cant remember): Just by burying every bone i saw.

Levels 56/58-60: I was on a blue dragon slayer task and desided to see how far id get if i buried all the bones on a gilded alter, i found that i only needed to kill about 100 more to get level 60 pray, so i got it.

Levels 60-71: I desided to get 70 prayer for piety, i was very poor back then (even more than i am now) so i headed down into the heros' gild with my crossbow and started killing. While i was down there The Temple at Senntisten was released so i desided to go to 71 (for deflect meele). Took me about 20 hours of playing time.

Levels 71-80: Quest lamps. 400k xp from WGS, 450k from Blood runs deep and 100k from The Void stares back. Which brings me just short of 79 prayer, the rest i got from penguin points (im to lazy to hunt them so i only get about 3-4 a week), other lamps and general burying.

I plan on getting all the way to 99 without spending a single gp. :thumbsup:

The quest was good. A bit short and the puzzle was a bit on the easy side, but all in all id give it 8/10.

These new Hati gloves are messing up my plans!

It was touching go whether id get 70 slay without getting another 81 (for my goal of 70+ all stats with only hp above 80), now its unavoidable.

Also i have decided that as rare items are droping now is the time to buy myself into the rare market, i'm going to go for a Santa hat.

I only have about 10m in cash but i can make another 20m fast by selling herbs, seeds, etc. Iv decided to set aside learning to team dg, finish 70 hunt and slay then maybe do fruit bats? Farming toadflax the whole time.

My current goal is to get all my skills 70+ with no skills above 80 (except constitution).

I hope to achieve this before Jagex releases another quest.

Just got my quest cape today :shades: so i thought it was a good excuse to start a blog here.

Took me 8 goes but i got there in the end. Also i might as well add my max on the Decaying avatar:

My first time in quadruple digits :thumbsup:.
