I am not new to Slayer, but it is unusual for me to have many points at once and no abilities to buy or tasks to permablock.
In the past, before the 2nd batch of abilities, I would buy rune packs, seeing as how they're worth quite a bit.
However, I've now realized that as valuable as the packs are, I can skip tasks for about the same amount of points - put in another way, I can pay 78k to skip a task.
With a large reservoir of points, I can skip many tasks in a row if need be, to get to the most profitable or quickest tasks, which would easily make up for the value lost through skipping others!
The tasks I do NOT skip include:
Abyssal Demons
Spiritual Mages
Iron,
Steel,
Mithril Dragons
Jungle,
Desert Strykwyrms
Dagannoths
Gargoyles (possibly!)
