New Signed Books! Hello My Pretties!

(0 reviews)

So I was in the UK for a few weeks and when I got back to California I had an AMAZING stack of books waiting for me:

Is that not the most gorgeous thing you've ever seen? I love them all and I'm so excited to read each and every one. I'll show off just a few of them :)

My friend works at a publishing company and sent me a copy of Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn as a gift!

From Bethany Griffin, author of Masque of the Red Death, I got a bookmark and a signed bookplate:

Now here are some awesome signed books! There were a lot of author signings in California while I was in the UK. I didn't get to attend any of the events, which I'm SUPER bummed about, but I sent my amazing mom off to snag signed copies for me :D

Also, while I was in the UK I bought a set of British Harry Potter books! They were just sitting in a charity shop and were super cheap. The set was missing The Goblet of Fire but I bought a copy separately on eBay (not in the picture).

Bitterblue is amazing. Have got Serpent's whatever sitting on my floor, waiting to be read.

I have the first Harry Potter in German...

I'm glad you enjoyed Bitterblue! I hope I like it too. I LOVED Graceling but didn't like Fire as much. So I'm hoping I like Bitterblue more than Fire :P

The cover illustrations of the Dutch HP series are much better than the British imo. They don't show any characters with distinguishing features, so your imagination can do the work. Especially the Philosopher's Stone has a horrible cover imo :/.

Also, books :ohnoes:.

Not sure if I've seen the Dutch ones. I like the British ones though :P The character depictions don't bother me. Since they're cartoony, I still tend to use my imagination anyway!

*ENVY!!!* Awesome set of books!

Hehe thanks Ami! :D I LOVE them!
