    yes, zammy spear is the best weapon to kill any dragons as they're weak to stab - and this is the best stab weapon in the game. BUT you can only kill them with this 2 handed weapon if you got super antifire pot (85 herby), overwise use the leaf bladed sword instead.

    I know all that stuff, i wanted to know if his experience of using the spear was quicker

    Well, I haven't tried using combinations such as Rune Defender + Whip yet, since I only recently got the potions, but the spear is very quick to kill them, far faster than a whip and antifire/dragonfire shield were. I intend to try these other possibilities soon.

     

    A Whip + Defender was faster at green dragons, if you care to know.
