    No their is no Rift in the abyss for the new runes, this was answered by Mod ASh on the RuneScape forums.

    More bug fixes: Mod Ash Jagex Mod 24-Jul-2006 15:46:12 We're rebooting the servers AGAIN to fix a bug where the game doesn't run very well under MS Java. Most of you should be using SUN's Java plugin, so you won't be affected. Again, sorry about this.
