it looks sort of flat.... shade it more, add more perspective in your dock. Look into perspective drawing for things like docks, make a vanishing point. For starting out you should probably use different angles anyways. Make easy to do angles like facing the dock so it looks like this _________0___ [] [] [] _--_--____----_____-____---______---____----__-_-----_- 0=guy, []=support, _--_- =water get my drift?

I just need to remind you that if you use outlines make sure the are complete, and also take more time of effects and bgs, the shapes of the characters are amazing though and I love the sig you made me so much! Just giving little tidbits of advice for your shop :wink:

Oh yeah, you don't have to use it, just request something so I'll have a demo if I ever start trying to sell

Then your the n00best spriter ever. go get any set of sprites probably from any SNES game or megaman PSX sprites. Trust me they don't have black outlines

actualy I wasn't. All he needs to work on are BGs and shading but the shapes of his characters are great. Nothing that a little bit of practice won't fix

That is looking so awsome for just a sketch man!!! I have a feeling I'm gonna love it :!: Forgot, for the background just try to resemble black demon place. Its just after the blue dragons in members dungeon. Black demon place looks sorta like lesser demon place.
