\ :thumbsup: \ :thumbsup: I have been playing runescape for 2-3 years, had a nice acc (lvl 96 combat (no summ) 1550 total, spend like 15m on a house and 68 construct). But that account got hacked in January, and i quit playin because i was a bit pisst. Recently i checked the Rs homepage and i noticed the graphical update coming up, read the dev diaries and it all looked very nice. I found a reason to start playing again. I made a new acc, but a friend felt pity for me (lvl 100, quest cape, 1600 total) and he gave me his lvl 65 noob acc. have been training it a bit in f2p, made about 200 lvls, i'm now 75 combat and member, making money and doing some skills like agility, construction (fav skill) and herblore. If you notice any grammer mistakes please give me a break (or brake?), I'm Dutch. Now here's the progress. June 20th: Did the summoning quest, but since I don't see summoning as a top priority right now, I'm going to be stuck at lvl 4 for a while. (No screens) June 21st: Getting the requirements for Fremennik Isles starting out construction finished construction : Okay I just made my first attempt at killing the troll king thingy, well actually my second. the first time i didn't even make it to the cave, teleported away. 2nd time i got killed >_< Now cutting yews to regain my losses (rune boots, granite shield, rune legs). not much, but not expandable. June 22nd: The day of the essence I replaced my axe with a pickaxe, as i figured out how much faster you make money. This sounds weird, but i've been playing non stop from 00:30 till 8:00am. Got around 5k of rune essence. oooohhh goody... how on earth is that possible

there are tons of games they advertise for on tv, you see the gfx and you think: "WoW, looks nice". Couple of days later you get to play it but the gameplay smells. You realise a good game isn't a good game without good gameplay. what's the use of a game in HD quality when the gameplay sucks. As the topic starter says, jagex might be late with updating their graphics, maybe too late. But I think that isn't correct. Those people at jagex focussed at the gameplay for years, and they made a great game you can play for months (years?) without getting bored. New content every month. Now the gameplay is perfect, they're updating the graphics. That's the way it's supposed to be. Gameplay comes first, not the graphics. Oh and i just noticed Marduk_God just said almost exactly the same thing :oops: :-#

yea exactly, the fog matching the colour of the area is a good solution though. by supporting widescreen resolution, does that include 1440 x 900? (17" laptop). I also think that this update will bring many retired players back to the game (like myself). And ofcourse the players that quit because of the removal op pk'ing and merching, will they come back? And how about new players, Runescape will attract a huge group of new players to the game I think. why would jagex do that? Are they stimulating us to have more partys? These letters really opened my eyes in many ways, It made them hurt. The "Jagex/Parents" Comparisation is freaking awesome :D

(waiting for genie lamps) Nats crafted: 3000/12000 (update every 500 nats) W000000000t: Yes, as you probably noticed, i need 68 for a proper dungeon. now you'll say: "i thought you need lvl 70 for a dungeon?" yes, but i kinda invented teak shelves 2 (+3 boost) and the crystal saw (+3 boost) so i boost it 6 lvls. that will get me to 74 con...Question: can i use tea and crystal saw for guard dogs? if yes, im happy. im planning on making 4 guard dogs. awwwww :( ah well, skeletons are cool also right? right?! :P First problem: im broke. but im 61 rc. :twisted: currently crafting nats. you are limited to 20 rooms. i already got 20 rooms. but... im only 63 con right now. so, how about my dungeon that ill have in the future? i mean, does it counts as a room?? and how about an oubliette? (did i spelled that wrong? :P)

I got teak shelfs 1, i got a butler. but.. how do i get my tea to boost me 3 con llvls? i keep beeing boosted by only 2 lvls. or.. am i just totally wrong and cant your butler take care of this? oh btw, i got a demon butler, or do i have to have a normal butler? and the tip.it homepage says the next event is at 1970... what the hack?!!? cant wait till more info is beeing released :shock: :shock:

First off, im going to train my rc to 44 lvl 43!!! :D :D Note: too lazy to make a tiara As you can see, im using the duel ring method: teleporting to the duel arena, craft fire runes, teleport to castlewars and bank, teleport back to the duel arena etc, etc. its very fast :D LVL 37! No pic :( LVL 38! No pic :wall: Current lvl: 43! Current amount of ess left: around 2k Current amount of duel rings: around 10 (enough for 44 rc)

yea well.... dang! i used the 18 p pots and i got: 150 bolt racks, 1k chaos runes, 200 bloods and some deaths and minds ah well, still made some profit

hmmm... :roll: know what? im just going to use those 18 pray pots for some more trips till a get a barrows item (plz let it be a verac's part!!)
