You got to pay a lot for crystal shield though, don't you? I'd rather get something that you don't have to keep refilling from time to time.

Obsidian shield however gives a strength bonus of five,which brings me to the question: Rune Defender or Obsidian Shield?

I'm guessing that since no one else is replying that this is the best combat gear for fighting other players in runescape? Thanks peoples.

The obsidian shield I think gives more strength bonus than a rune defender as well as gives defense. Also, I'll have to check on the torags chest and legs thing but thanks. What do you mean by slash bonus and using a warrior helm as well? I'm not sure I need that much accuracy but if I did, what would you suggest? @sdn30 I'm not sure I want just total defense. they both give +5 to strength Obsidian shield gives crazy defense though plus 67 more defense to range attacks than rune defenders even though rune defenders have that attack bonus. By the way, list was updated.

I want my armor to be best suitable in player vs. player situations. I guess that could mean best defense.

-Torag's Helmet -Amulet of Fury -Torag's Platebody -Torag's Platelegs -Abyssal Whip -Rune Defender -Fire Cape -Berserker Ring -Dark Gloves -Rune Boots If this isn't the best gear, can somebody give me suggestions to make my equipment list better?
