    Three minor corrections to the Murder Mystery quest guide should help you. First two: Frank's silver pot is in the "mid-east" room and David's silver book is in the "mis-west" room. Finally, the correction you appear hung up on is that you must confront your suspect, asking if they know anything about the thread, before you tell the guard you know who did it.
