  1. Good luck! Hopefully it won't just collect dust in your bank, like mine does. >.
  2. Due to the decrease in the price of God Armor, (Yay!) I have decided to lower my monetary goal to 3 Million, since that's all I really need to buy the full Saradomin I'm looking for.
  3. I'm sorry to leave you all hanging, but my last few days have just been iron mining. However, this little short story should entertain you a little. :P Hard Boiled Eggs Tired of walking back and forth between Falador and the dwarven mines, I took a quick break at the bank. Lo and behold, I found these fellows sitting outside. That's me in the Zombie outfit, or if you've carefully read my past entries, my "Skill Suit". I talked to them for a bit, and they had me in hysterics. All the stuff about "eggs only, no humans" was creatively done. I must say that I've never before been so pleased while being shunned away. ^.^ -Having registered my account in July, I have no Easter Ring. :( Anyway, after about 10 minutes, some pyro jerk showed up. The "eggs" proceeded to cry out in pain, and comment about being cooked. Oh well... hard boilled eggs tonight! :P
  4. Wow... it's amazing how busy I've been lately... I'll try to get something posted today or tomorrow. >.
  5. Ugh, been busy the last few days. This entry might not be as exciting as the rest, but I'll try to make it interesting. Day 9: Today I shoved all impatience aside, and made a point of reaching my goal. I have finally outgrown my Adamant Axe! Finally! Feeling up to a bit of multitasking, I grabbed my old axe, and my Rune plate, legs, and kite. I figured that I not only would rid myself of my adamant axe (despite the stupidity of this whole exercise) but I would... -Do something fun -Train strength at the Greater Demons -Perhaps get a Rune helm drop (unlikely...) That was the whole theory. But by the time I reached the Greater Demons, I got gangbanged before I could attack a demon, take a screenshot, or even eat! Next stop, Lumbridge. After that, I trained a bit at the Ankous, but I was anxious to get on with my moneymaking. I headed on over to the Dwarven Mines to begin another smelting session with Steel Bars. Whatever happened to Iron salesmen anyway? I haven't seen any since I first started with the bars. Tomorrow, I'll see how far I get with 500 more steel bars. ^.^
  6. Wow... that's quite encouraging. About the whole 99 Str thing, I've no intention of getting that. My whole intent was to conclude the blog when I buy full Saradomin-trimmed armor, actually. I just had no particular Strength level to shoot for (no new abilities gained... or whatever, just more damage dealt) so I put 99. Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaah...
  7. I spent a good solid 30 minutes trying to do the basement puzzle for Ernest the Chicken WITHOUT A QUEST GUIDE. Waaaaaaaaaay more compicated than Dragon Slayer... *isn't P2P*
  8. 1. You can wear Rune armor at lvl 40, so why the extra 5 defense? 2. Where did I whine? Where? All I did was politely point out that I was still missing 10k, and accepting donations. 3. Limits (what you are describing) and goals are essentially opposites. It doesn't mean that I'll never woodcut again, it just means that I am working hard for THIS level. That's all. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...
  9. Day 8: Today I started with a little PKing. I got one kill - a Strength Pure who used protect item for his Rune Scimmy. I also gained a Strength level out there... ^.^ After that, I went to my favorite Ranged training spot. They drop Iron Arrows, and there's a great safespot, so you can stay down here for virtually forever, and leave with more arrows than you came with. While training, I get a message from my friend. Something about Rune Chainbodies being better defense than platebodies. It intrigued me. I head off to World 1 to see if I can kill 2 birds with one stone - investigate this new idea, and make a quick profit. I quickly buy a Rune Chainbody for 35k - nice cheap price. I check the bonuses: Rune Chainbody has these better bonuses than Platebody: Ranged/Magic Attack Crush/Magic Defense Platebody was clearly the winner. I discard my friend's theory. I go off to sell the Chainbody for 40k. Normally, I'm a careful trader. You know, checking the 2nd screen, etc. I don't know what came over me. After about 10 minutes, I finally get a decent offer. I put up my Chainbody, the other user offers a noted Rune Battleaxe. I quickly switch to my Market Price Guide window to check, and I'm getting a really good deal. I switch back, accept, accept. I'm kicking myself for not checking now, because I've got a noted Iron Battleaxe in my inventory. 35k, gone. I managed to get back 25k, but was too depressed to continue. If anyone wants to help me by giving me 10k or something, message me ingame, or post here if you must. My RSN is Nintend Fan, and you'll find me in World 57. I'm going to get that remaining 10k back by tomorrow... or have it donated to me. See you all then.
  10. Yeah... my attention span isn't the greatest. (Don't get me wrong... I don't have ADD or anything) But the thing is, Runescape is just a game. Games are for having fun, not boring yourself to death. So that's my style, which... hopefully is improving. In other news, I doctored this pic of the mining level I missed. Does it look authentic?
  11. I edit my first post every time I add an entry, for level-up pics and day summaries. As for bumping... *bump*
  12. I think it should've been limited to one prize per person, but... meh. Gratz to the winners.
  13. Lederhosen is obviously the best choice, but... I really don't know any other decent alternatives. >.
  14. Day 7: This morning, I found myself inside Edgeville Bank. Eager to train Woodcutting a bit more, I glanced around outside. There was a Willow sitting by the river, utterly deserted. Well... not utterly. I found a lvl 3 macroer who I reported. (I talked to him for a bit... no response) I'm chopping away at it... pun intended. ;) After that came a few PKing runs. I got one kill - a lvl 61 in a frog suit that I fought in lvl 1 wilderness. He didn't get away fast enough. Hehehe... After my PKing, I went to fish Swordfish at Karamja. The new Harpoon graphics were pretty awesome... After that, I headed to the Ice Caves at Mudskipper Point to train on Ice Giants. The loot I got from this trip made back the money I had lost at the makeover mage, so I'm back to 600k again. ^.^ I also gained an HP level down there, so I am combat lvl 61. Afterwards, I went pking with Rune. Nothing really eventful, except... once I teled. Teleportation Matrix... AKA free laws. Gotta love it. I also got frogs afterwards, so I have another mask. 2 full frog sets! ^.^ And THAT was my Runescape day!
  15. Army of Darkness Pinball Wizard Arabian 2 Frogland \ Artistry Sea Shanty 2
  16. I've been PMed once ingame about the blog I have, but that's all. Probably because I don't hang out in World 7. My advice to you... hang out in World 7.
  17. Well... I suppose Fillbertman4 is registered here after all. XD
  18. Day 6: I started today by cutting some willows... again. I should mix things up a bit by now. :/ After that, I took another PKing run. In the middle of preparing for heading out on my own, I was invited by some friends. :P The team was me, Rune83Ranger, and Fillbertman4, who, again, I asked before sticking his name in here. Fill is a rune pure like myself, and has already starred in this blog. "After that, I got invited to PK with 2 more of my friends. They don't know about my blog, so I'm omitting their names. I didn't even get a decent screenshot of us. >.< Next time..." Fill is the level 64 I mentioned (as opposed to the 68), and now knows about my blog, although he isn't registered here. So... yeah. This time, I got a decent screenshot. That's me in the back. Fill led, and you already know what Rune looks like. This time, I was out there for at least an hour. I also managed to solve the bear mystery. "These bears were changed to "Black Bears". Does that mean that there are Grizzly Bears running around Runescape that I don't know about?" Indeed, Grizzly Bears are roaming freely throughout the wilderness. Dun dun dun... Our run started at the castle, where we found a level 45. He started insulting us. Rune, being level 52, was able to attack. We successfully lured him to level 15 wilderness and I assisted with the kill. We hung around for awhile, but Rune was forced to tele. Shortly afterwards... the 45 shows up again and starts talking smack. I got him to waste all his food fighting me before he retreated to level 14. Rune then returned and forced him to teleport. The guy showed up YET AGAIN, and we were able to kill him a second time. I got a kick out of this. In total, I got 2 kills. Here's one I screenied: And here is my spoils: ...and that was my Runescape day! ^.^
  19. Well, I had a lot to do last night, and didn't get onto Runescape AT ALL. >.< So... yeah.
  20. Okay, the really awful load time from yesterday seemed to be a problem with the forum, as today the page loaded quickly. Thank goodness!
  21. Lately I've been having trouble getting the blog page to load... too many images? This could be bad for my blog... Anyway... Day 5: I was pretty disappointed that Jagex made the Capes of Achievement members only... Meh. They didn't even give us goats in the nonmember portion of the desert. I WANT GOATS!!! :( Once I logged on today, I actually was messaged ingame about my blog. ^.^ Naturally, this made me happy. Hopefully the problems with loading will stop eventually. The one update that applied to F2P was the new graphics, which I set out to explore immediately. The rats look schweet. I didn't notice a change in the normal ones though... These bears were changed to "Black Bears". Does that mean that there are Grizzly Bears running around Runescape that I don't know about? After that, I headed to a new spot to train my ranged. Yay? 400 iron arrows later... After that, I did some willow-cutting at Lumbridge. But before I had even gotten 1 load, I got... Frogs! I already had a full frog set, but I was inspired by the new token I received. I teleported to Falador (^.^) and made for the Makeover Mage, while wearing my frog suit. When I asked for my makeover, he/she told me to take of my frog suit. I found this strange, but did so anyway. I then changed my gender to Female, and... I still had the Prince clothes! This was a discovery. When I tried on the clothes, they turned into a Princess Gown. I took it off, changed my gender back (and kept the gown), teleported to Varrock, and turned in my token for a prince suit. Not many people can say that they have REAL full frog, I'm sure. Aww yeah... B) And that concluded my Runescape day!
  22. Day 4: In an attempt to actually make this blog exciting, I went on another PK run today, and Rune83Ranger tagged along. We each got a kill. Rune attacked a guy with absolutely nothing. I got lucky. :P I omitted the guy's name for his privacy. ;) Anyways, I shared. I kept the airs, deaths, and Rune Scimmy. Rune was given all the other stuff. Nothing else truly exciting happened this time. when we got back, I sold my Scimitar for 25k. This got me to 598k. ^.^ After that, I homeported to Lumbridge to cut 1 load of Willows... Did I mention that I'm on the high scores for Firemaking? XD That all happened yesterday... TODAY, I headed up to Barbarian Village. The Stronghold of Security to be specific. I train strength on the Ankous in level 4. They have a great drop rate for Law Runes, which I always seem to need. I got 3 law drops (6 runes) for 1 piddly inventory of Trout/Salmon. I also got... After that, I got invited to PK with 2 more of my friends. They don't know about my blog, so I'm omitting their names. I didn't even get a decent screenshot of us. >.< Next time... Quite frankly, I prefer going with Rune. With these guys, I'm just the meatshield. (They are lvl 64 and 68, and treat me like a noob >.<) Anyways, this particular outing lasted an hour, but wasn't very productive. My share of the kills was just junk they didn't want. At least selling it all got me to 600k. And that was my Runescape day.
  23. Forums were down yesterday. Ugh. Anyways, I'll take the stuff from yesterday and lump it in with today's material. Fun...
  24. Day 3: Today wasn't exactly very exciting... but I made some progress. I started off my day by getting materials for 500 steel bars. I bought the coal for 175k, but the iron is an entirely different story. Anyway, there weren't any iron salesmen at the time I bought my coal (World 1 Falador East Bank) so I decided to mine it myself. I quickly donned my skill suit: ...and headed for the Dwarven Mines. I need 5 more combat levels before the King Scorpians leave me alone... god those things are annoying. I got a Mining level, but I wasn't expecting it, and missed the pic. >.< I met a guy training ranged down there, and he agreed to kill the King Scorps for me. He stayed there pretty much the entire time I was mining... so we agreed to be friends. He watched me Homeport away as I mined my 500th ore. ^.^ It definately helped having someone to talk to during those 50+ trips back and forth to the Al Kharid furnace. My new friend waws busy PMing me the stats of his PKing trip (turns out he was a Ranged pure...) and I gave him the scoop on smelting my bars. In the end... I spent at least 2 hours getting my 500 steel bars. Got 2 Smithing levels too. ^.^ One amusing distraction was the noob who messaged me claiming to be a "bug in the Runescape system" and if I didn't give him my password in the next 5 seconds, my account would be deleted in 2 days. Heh... we'll see about that. After that, I headed back to World 1 Falador East to sell. Exactly 100k was my profit. I'm not sure it was entirely worth it... This means I've hit the 500k mark. And that was my entire Runescape day.
  25. When I pk, this is the route I travel: Dark Knight's Castle -> -Past lvl 20 Wildy -> Bandit Camp -> Boneyard -> -Below lvl 20 Wildy -> Hill Giants -> Back to Castle It tends to work for me...
