  1. I can't bring myself to work at all on my other essay for English. I hate English courses so much. So pointless.
  2. I need to expound a little and BS it into a 2 page essay, but yeah, that's what I'm going with.
  3. [hide] Quenching Your Thirst at No Cost In my high school years my friends and I used to enjoy getting together, listening to music, hanging out, and having a good time in general. A large factor in how much we enjoyed our get-togethers was whether or not we had proper refreshments: beverages in particular. It was the general consensus of the group that everybody pitched in a certain amount of money and then whoever was legally able to purchase these certain beverages would go out and do so. Upon their return the festivities would begin and everybody would have an enjoyable evening. Unfortunately, however, there was the occasional attendee who would not contribute to the pool of money, but would later enjoy the delicious and thirst quenching beverages. This became a problem when these persons would drink such a large amount of our beverages without helping fund them, and then leave our social gathering to either attend another or do their own thing. To solve this situation we had to change the rules of the game. As a group, we decided that in order to partake in our delicious beverages one was required to pitch in a fair share of the cost. We felt this was fair to the group as a whole. As it turns out, many high school aged people enjoy the beverages that we were able to attain, but very few were willing to contribute to the cost. An unintended consequence of our decision came when we realized that with this new stipulation, our get-togethers were being frequented with fewer and fewer of our peers. In the end we felt that this was for the best and that the people that were willing to pay for the refreshments were the only people we wanted around anyway. [/hide] Lol
  4. K, so for my econ paper I need to describe an instance of free-riding I have had experience with. Free-riding as in someone taking advantage of the benefits of something but not contributing to it's cost. I'm pretty much brain dead today for some reason. Any thoughts?
