I will post some pictures in the future of my RuneScape character and you guys can chat with me in-game. Ignore those guides about money through mining or smithing etc. They take up a lot of time and the profit is not high. Although mining iron is pretty easy and quick with a Rune Pickaxe, players are often exploit because iron is used for steel bars which sell for much higher. SO DON'T FOLLOW ANY OF THOSE GUIDES OUT THERE!!! THIS IS THE ONLY G-O-O-D GUIDE ON THE PLANET EARTH AND, OF COURSE, IT IS FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should start off with collecting items and selling them for a higher cost. Aim at merchanting Rune and god or trimmed armour, because these items have a bigger range of costs. Rune plate: lowest=50k highest I've seen= 110k!!! Don't buy a lot of amulets or coloured gloves-- these take a long time to sell and the profit is only a few k's. I've tried this method before and I haven't made as much money as I do now. I earn an average of 200k hourly. DON'T GET SCAMMED: There are many common scams and I shall explain each of them and how to avoid them. DONT GET TEMPTED TO SCAM OR YOU WILL GET BANNED. The most common scam is the trade-screen scam. Players change the amount of money right before you accept, such as turning 1000k to 10004,( an extremely common scam) and before you notice your zamorak plate is gone. Just take another 100 seconds or more to check the second trade screen before accepting a trade. Another common scam is the two people scam. One player says something like 'Selling banana for 100k!!!' and another player says 'Buying a banana for 650k please sell!!!' See, a banana does NOT worth 100k and often both players are banned for deceiving players. Ok I cant list all scams because there are too MUCH, just use your common scam and check RuneScape forums regularly for item prices so you won't get fooled. Now onto the money making bit. For all levels, start off with buying a mass amount of items such as...... iron ores. Trade appropriate items for them or buy them for less cash. Try buying iron ores (and ONLY ores) for between 50-80gp. Afterwards sell them for 100gp each. Afterwards try using the coal (or higher lvl ores) method. buy coal for as low as 130-140gp each and sell for at least 180gp. Takes a bit of time, but the profit is worth it. For adamantite ores buy for 800-900gp each, and NEVER buy for over 900gp each!! Then sell them for 1000-1200gp each to players OVER LEVEL 65. For rune ores you can buy them for as low as 8500 gp (a bit rare for this low but you can beg for this price), and don't buy for any higher than 9000gp each ore. Then sell them for 10,000gp each ore or higher if possible but dont say stuff like 'selling rune ores 13k each!!!' You may get banned for deceiving. Once you have at least 100k move on to the advanced money making section. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2) ATTENTION!!! This section contains advanced material! If you do not have over 100k in your RuneScape account do not read this section until you do have the money. Common, easy-to-get-scammed-by-them scams: Avoid players saying stuff like 'folo to win 500k!!!' They scam. Yes they really do. These players ask you to play a bidding game and asks you to trade them stuff starting from 1gp. They will give it back, but at the later times of the game they start to ask for more and more items, and eventually just teleport away or logout, then adding you in their ignore list. These scams are everywhere and very dangerous. I got scammed rune stuff and 60k this way too and it is not very amusing. Okay, now onto the advanced money making. After you reached the 100k barrier, you can start with merchanting with rune stuff, rune trimmed, god armour or rare items. I used this method before and guess what? I made over 800k in half an hour. First step: Buy a rune plate for 50k. Sell it in Varrock, World 1 for 60k or more. Keep doing this (follow my instructions excactly for spectacular results!) until you reach 200k. Now, buy a Rune Full armour (FULL means large helmet, plate, legs, AND kite shield). Don't get fooled by other players saying there is no shield. Buy rune full for only 180k-185k (at most), and sell the shield for 50k. Then, try selling only the armour for 200k or even more! Don't see this as a way of tricking players, because some players are really desperate and won't care about expenses. When you reach 500k with this method, buy better armour, such as rune (g) armour or god armour. DON'T BUY SKIRTS!!!!!!!!!! They waste your time because NO ONE BUYS THEM!!! The best to buy is shields and legs, and with the money you can buy plates as well. It is extremly hard to reach 1 mil with this method, but if you want to learn how to get one mil you must pay for that post-advanced money making guide, which will guide you through till 10 million. You are what people call 'NOOB'!!! You must reach level 50 before not being a noob. The best technique for you guys so far is the cowhides method. Many people believe cowhides worth a piece of crap or a few gp. BUt in the 'big-boy's' world cowhides worth up to 100gp!!! This is a bit rare though. For a constent money making life, add me to your friend's list. My username is [Kc Max]. IGNORE THE '[]'. I will purchase your cowhides for 60gp each so you won't need ot look everywhere to sell them. I need at least 500 cowhides each time though, so don't get less than that. level 4-10: Hey, you should be a tiny bit better at money making now. This time you should still collect cowhides and sell them to me, or alternatively you can start mining or wood-cutting. For iron, aim for an addy pickaxe with iron ores and woodcutting aim for willows, or yews if possible. Take some time on that, but iron ore mining is quick and you can also sell them to me for over 100gp each ore or great items as my offers. A quick money making technique is taxi rides. Just tell people to ride by following you and charge them low costs, say... Lumbridge to varrock for 250gp. I've made over 2k in one taxi ride before!!! Level 11-20: Now it's a good idea to start rising your stats to a decent amount. THe best way to rise the three attack-defence-strength is 5-by-5. First, raise your attack to 5, Then strength, then defence. You get the point, right? You will be able to mine, cook, smith etc many things by now. To rise you smithing, invest 2,000 gp on 100 copper and tin. Then, smelt them into bars and smith the best type of weapons you can. Give these to other low-level players, or simply sell them, but you will not get a lot of money. After your smithing is now a bit higher, upgrade your mining stat and keep mining iron ores. Change your pickaxe when neccessary. Mine 60 ful inventories of iron ores (1680 ores), and don't forget to put all your items in the bank and wield your pickaxe so you have a full inventory of space (28 items can be stored). After mining the irons, your mining level should be well over 30, but DON'T start mining coal. smelt and smith the irons, then sell the items for money. (If you have no intention of smithing, sell the iron ores to me.) level 21-30: As mentioned earlier, mining, smithing, woodcutting and others are not good methods of money making and i advise you to quit those habits when you're about this level. You can now start merchanting full-time (or half time if you like stat-raising). Follow the following steps CAREFULLY: 1. Go to World 1 of Falador and buy irons. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AT LEAST 50K CASH. buy irons for 70 gp each and buy 700 iron ores, which worths 49k here. Sell the iron ores the next day for 100-110gp each. You've made 21,000 gp!!! Continue with this way until you reach 200k. 2. Then, consider buying rune items, rune pl8s or rune fulls, but avoid rune daggers, maces, med helms, and that sorta noob stuff. They don't sell. Ok, use 180-190k to buy a rune full, and sell it for 200-210k. You can also try selling it seperately (makes more money but uses more time), as follows: Rune full Helmet: 35,000gp to 40,000gp Rune plate mail : 60,000gp to 70,000gp (If ur lucky some desperate people may spend up to 105k, which is the highest I've seen.) Rune plate legs : 50,000gp to 60,000gp RUne Kite shield: 50,000gp to 55,000gp Sell within the range and don't sell for less than that. Try your best to gain the most profit. the lowest you can sell for there is 195k and the highest you can is 225k!!!!!!!!! 3. When you have a decent amount of money, say 500k, try merchanting on trimmed or god items and use the RuneScape forum Item price check to search for the costs of all significant items. Go to 'RuneScape forums', click 'Item Discussion', then the first link, 'Ultimate Item Price Check 5.0' should be it. Despite of all temptations, do not, NEVER, scam or break any rules. You will find it very upsetting, which I have experienced 3 times, to lose your hard-trained account. level 31-40: As mentioned before, you should have at least 500k by now. The stupid money making guides out there which cost you over 10 USD are all fake and useless. Anyways, at this level you should start mining and smithing, and some other critical stats. Mine irons EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE REACHED LEVEL 30! The best place to start mining is the mining guild, which requires a mining level of 60 to get in. You can go in by drinking a dwarfen stout at level 59 and kind of 'cheat' in. There are tonnes of coal and other good ores in there and not many players go in usually. The best place to mine iron ores is the hidden mine which is South-west varrock, near the Champion's Guild. Coal is, well, Mining Guild and several other ores are also best if mined in the Guild. Rune ores can only be obtained in the wilderness and is quite dangerous! level 41-50: Try merchanting now, with the previous few methods, but on a larger scale. You can try aiming for 5 sets of Rune Full armour at a time. Also, you may find crafting a very useful stat for making quick money. First, mine 200 clay ores, and go next to a fountain. Make sure you have a jug/bucket with you, and keep turning the clay ores into soft clay. (it is also advised to finish the quest 'Goblin Diplomacy' before starting to raise crafting) When you have 200 soft clays, go to barbarian village and make them into pottery. Make the best pottery you can for the level. Your crafting should be as high as level 14+ when you are done. When you're done, hire some low-level players to help you pick up cowhides. Don't pay them much, only 5gp -20gp each is more than enough. First, tan them at Al Knarid. It only costs 1gp per hide, so you should have no problem with the costs. Buy a needle and loads of thread at a crafting shop nearby, and make leather products out of the tanned leather. When you have a decent crafting level, mine (or buy) some gold ores. Smelt them in a furnace, and buy moulds and start making jewelery out of the gold. jewellery is made in a furnace. Start buying some gems from a gem shop, and cut the gems. If you have a combat level of 50+, you can try 'Free gem cutting!!!' at your own risk, but other players may think you are scamming and report you. At higher levels you can make jewellery with different gems. Don't make rings, or necklaces, just focus on amulets!!! level 51-60: A very effective way of using a side-account is to use it to chop trees. Make a level 3 account and chop your way to yew trees. Drop all the logs u chop, but not the yew logs!!! Willows logs may be worth keeping but are a waste of space. Only keep yew logs and sell them in Varrock World one for money. However, although this is what many people tend to do, I do not suggest it as a very effective way of making money, but you can try. At this level it is possibly wise to try attacking other players in the wilderness and getting there items. The Combat Triangle is a very important issue but the RuneScape website itself teaches you how to 'defy' the Combat Triangle. Player Killing can earn you lots of rune items and even more valuable items if you are lucky to win. Also, if you are player killing in the wilderness, take plenty of lobsters, and a few teleport runes. Stay around level 20 wilderness or maybe even a few levels deeper, but not too deep because level 20 wilderness is the point of of no teleportation. Pass it, and you cannot teleport unless you go less deep. Also, make sure you have a decent strength level, and I recommend 60+. This way you can do high damage to other players, and you should be able to do at least 15 damage to others, which is equivalent to the health for one lobster. So therefore, even if your opponent eats a lobster, you can do a 15 or maybe more a beat the hell out of them. level 61-70: Phew! Lucky you. You have passed level 60, the marking point of not being a noob! There are rumours saying jagex tries to ban high-level NON-MEMBER players with over one million in cash, but this rumour is never proven to be correct. So, whatever about that, NEVER EVER EVER scam anyone now or break rules!!! You might have spent loads of time on your account and a rule-break can cause it to be gone forever!!!!!! The best way of making money now is merchanting on a large scale. Try buying a Santa Hat for a few mil and sometime you can sell them for over 8 mil!!! These prices change often so I still recommend Rune items, which vary only a bit overtime. Try spending 500k on ten Rune Plate mails, and selling them for up to 75k each, earning you 250k------ big deal. When you make enough money you can earn up to one million a day, which I am achieving right now. However, I got hacked and got over two million stolen in money and items, and got scammed 850k, but I am still working hard to make more and it is an advice that if you ever got hacked or scammed, don't be depressed because the scammer/hacker will get his/her repay sometime, and report players efficiently and they might be banned together with their millions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 4) This is very useful imformation on reaching one million gp, which many players find hard to achieve. However, my guide is here to help and guide you to the MILLION BARRIER. Making 100k may be very exciting for many players, and I will teach you now how to turn that 100k into one million. Firstly, many players use one million gp to scam players, because one million is viewed as 1000k. Players then quickly change the 1000k into 10004 (looks unbelievably alike in-game) and there goes all your stuff. That is why, as mentioned before, you should take at least 10 seconds to check the two trade screens, even if it seems to be the best offer you have ever had in your life. Now suppose you have 100k in your bank. The best way to just use this money-- nothing else, not even speaking, is to buy-low-sell-high with it. Follow the following steps to achieve one million: a.First, buy four Rune Scimitars at 25k each. Then, sell them at 30k each approximately. You should now have 120k in total. Do this until you have 200k, and most importantly, only buy 4---no more or less--- at a time. b.You should have 200k now. Buy 4 Rune Plate Mails at 50k each, and sell them for 65k per. When you are done you should have 260k. Keep doing this until you have 500k, and as before, only buy 4 at a time. c.When you now have 500k, buy ten Rune Plate Mails at 50k each, and sell them for 60k each. That was a quick 100k there! d.600k it is. Now, buy 7000 iron ores (VERY easily done at Falador world one) for 80 gp each and don't make it higher or lower in cost. Then, sell them to players for 100gp each ore, and before you expect, another 100k has arrived. You now have 7 times as much money as you had at the beginning, so I do believe you can figure out the final 300k yourself with the methods discussed. e.When you have one million gp, enjoy! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 5) CONCLUSIONS As metioned at the beginning, I will pay 10k to anyone who does now make money out of the guide. Rune plate legs : 50,000gp to 60,000gp RUne Kite shield: 50,000gp to 55,000gp Sell within the range and don't sell for less than that. Try your best to gain the most profit. the lowest you can sell for there is 195k and the highest you can is 225k!!!!!!!!! 3. When you have a decent amount of money, say 500k, try merchanting on trimmed or god items and use the RuneScape forum Item price check to search for the costs of all significant items. Go to 'RuneScape forums', click 'Item Discussion', then the first link, 'Ultimate Item Price Check 5.0' should be it. Despite of all temptations, do not, NEVER, scam or break any rules. You will find it very upsetting, which I have experienced 3 times, to lose your hard-trained account. level 31-40: As mentioned before, you should have at least 500k by now. The stupid money making guides out there which cost you over 10 USD are all fake and useless. Anyways, at this level you should start mining and smithing, and some other critical stats. Mine irons EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE REACHED LEVEL 30! The best place to start mining is the mining guild, which requires a mining level of 60 to get in. You can go in by drinking a dwarfen stout at level 59 and kind of 'cheat' in. There are tonnes of coal and other good ores in there and not many players go in usually. The best place to mine iron ores is the hidden mine which is South-west varrock, near the Champion's Guild. Coal is, well, Mining Guild and several other ores are also best if mined in the Guild. Rune ores can only be obtained in the wilderness and is quite dangerous! level 41-50: Try merchanting now, with the previous few methods, but on a larger scale. You can try aiming for 5 sets of Rune Full armour at a time. Also, you may find crafting a very useful stat for making quick money. First, mine 200 clay ores, and go next to a fountain. Make sure you have a jug/bucket with you, and keep turning the clay ores into soft clay. (it is also advised to finish the quest 'Goblin Diplomacy' before starting to raise crafting) When you have 200 soft clays, go to barbarian village and make them into pottery. Make the best pottery you can for the level. Your crafting should be as high as level 14+ when you are done. When you're done, hire some low-level players to help you pick up cowhides. Don't pay them much, only 5gp -20gp each is more than enough. First, tan them at Al Knarid. It only costs 1gp per hide, so you should have no problem with the costs. Buy a needle and loads of thread at a crafting shop nearby, and make leather products out of the tanned leather. When you have a decent crafting level, mine (or buy) some gold ores. Smelt them in a furnace, and buy moulds and start making jewelery out of the gold. jewellery is made in a furnace. Start buying some gems from a gem shop, and cut the gems. If you have a combat level of 50+, you can try 'Free gem cutting!!!' at your own risk, but other players may think you are scamming and report you. At higher levels you can make jewellery with different gems. Don't make rings, or necklaces, just focus on amulets!!! level 51-60: A very effective way of using a side-account is to use it to chop trees. Make a level 3 account and chop your way to yew trees. Drop all the logs u chop, but not the yew logs!!! Willows logs may be worth keeping but are a waste of space. Only keep yew logs and sell them in Varrock World one for money. However, although this is what many people tend to do, I do not suggest it as a very effective way of making money, but you can try. At this level it is possibly wise to try attacking other players in the wilderness and getting there items. The Combat Triangle is a very important issue but the RuneScape website itself teaches you how to 'defy' the Combat Triangle. Player Killing can earn you lots of rune items and even more valuable items if you are lucky to win. Also, if you are player killing in the wilderness, take plenty of lobsters, and a few teleport runes. Stay around level 20 wilderness or maybe even a few levels deeper, but not too deep because level 20 wilderness is the point of of no teleportation. Pass it, and you cannot teleport unless you go less deep. Also, make sure you have a decent strength level, and I recommend 60+. This way you can do high damage to other players, and you should be able to do at least 15 damage to others, which is equivalent to the health for one lobster. So therefore, even if your opponent eats a lobster, you can do a 15 or maybe more a beat the hell out of them. level 61-70: Phew! Lucky you. You have passed level 60, the marking point of not being a noob! There are rumours saying jagex tries to ban high-level NON-MEMBER players with over one million in cash, but this rumour is never proven to be correct. So, whatever about that, NEVER EVER EVER scam anyone now or break rules!!! You might have spent loads of time on your account and a rule-break can cause it to be gone forever!!!!!! The best way of making money now is merchanting on a large scale. Try buying a Santa Hat for a few mil and sometime you can sell them for over 8 mil!!! These prices change often so I still recommend Rune items, which vary only a bit overtime. Try spending 500k on ten Rune Plate mails, and selling them for up to 75k each, earning you 250k------ big deal. When you make enough money you can earn up to one million a day, which I am achieving right now. However, I got hacked and got over two million stolen in money and items, and got scammed 850k, but I am still working hard to make more and it is an advice that if you ever got hacked or scammed, don't be depressed because the scammer/hacker will get his/her repay sometime, and report players efficiently and they might be banned together with their millions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 4) This is very useful imformation on reaching one million gp, which many players find hard to achieve. However, my guide is here to help and guide you to the MILLION BARRIER. Making 100k may be very exciting for many players, and I will teach you now how to turn that 100k into one million. Firstly, many players use one million gp to scam players, because one million is viewed as 1000k. Players then quickly change the 1000k into 10004 (looks unbelievably alike in-game) and there goes all your stuff. That is why, as mentioned before, you should take at least 10 seconds to check the two trade screens, even if it seems to be the best offer you have ever had in your life. Now suppose you have 100k in your bank. The best way to just use this money-- nothing else, not even speaking, is to buy-low-sell-high with it. Follow the following steps to achieve one million: a.First, buy four Rune Scimitars at 25k each. Then, sell them at 30k each approximately. You should now have 120k in total. Do this until you have 200k, and most importantly, only buy 4---no more or less--- at a time. b.You should have 200k now. Buy 4 Rune Plate Mails at 50k each, and sell them for 65k per. When you are done you should have 260k. Keep doing this until you have 500k, and as before, only buy 4 at a time. c.When you now have 500k, buy ten Rune Plate Mails at 50k each, and sell them for 60k each. That was a quick 100k there! d.600k it is. Now, buy 7000 iron ores (VERY easily done at Falador world one) for 80 gp each and don't make it higher or lower in cost. Then, sell them to players for 100gp each ore, and before you expect, another 100k has arrived. You now have 7 times as much money as you had at the beginning, so I do believe you can figure out the final 300k yourself with the methods discussed. e.When you have one million gp, enjoy! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 5) CONCLUSIONS As metioned at the beginning, I will pay 10k to anyone who does now make money out of the guide. I do believe in helping others, but if my good advice is still a waste of time to you I do not hesitate to repay you for the loss. However I also believe in honesty and that if the guide does help you a lot don't try begging for 10k and if you would you can also comment on my guide in the forums. There are other guides which I am currently working on extremely hard in my break-times and lunch-breaks at school, but I really hope players can make the most out of my guides and that they find it useful and may even recommend it to others. There will be some other guides on how to turn one million gp into ten million, and a couple of other stat-training guides and skill-guides etc. However, this guide to making money is the only free guide available and for the others a minimum cost MAY be charged.
