thanks all of you...now if anyone comes back to this...one more question...how do you get to caniffs?

I was assigned to kill birds for slayer...but my question(s) is, where do i find birds. In the tip.it beastiary it says they are found on ape atoll, but is that the only place, if so, how do i get there to kill them? thank you anyone for your help.
