my mage is 42 and im getting it to 43 well trying too, so i should bring prayer pots? andi cant use scimmy is d mace good cuz of mage bonus?

i read the guide, im level 89 i have a whip berzerker and rune, 75 atk 71 def and 73 str question: the guide said bring monks robes, holy symbol, and ranger and mage stuff, should i bring my whip also or no because i think i can hurt ahrim and karil with whip but should i or should i follow the mag and range tech.
