Buying used games is just as harmful to the games industry as pirating. Think about it. The publishers don't get any money at all for the used games that gamestop sells. And despite the fact that they're pretty much free for gamestop to buy (they rarely give out more than 5 bucks) they sell it for close to the full price. but discounted a bit. So people coming into the store don't buy new games that support the publisher, they buy the used games that DON'T support the publisher. It practically makes pirates out of people who actually intended to buy the game

Hello everyone, sorry I've been such a stranger around here lately. I've just been through quite a bit recently. In Pittsburgh, the internet went down and as a result, any time I was around internet, I had to do homework rather than posting on tif. Its not that I don't care about posting here, but I got to prioritize, you understand. The internet was down from Friday to Tuesday. It was really rough, given that I rely on it quite a bit. My roommate went to bed out of boredom rather early, so for a lot of it, I was by myself with just my TV and my phone, killing whatever time I could offline. The internet was repaired early on Tuesday, however, I had class from 10am to 12. And when I got back from class, I had to get packed up to go home for thanksgiving break, from Tuesday to Sunday. So even when it was repaired, I didn't get to use it. I didn't get to Columbus till late at night, and then I didn't really have time for /fg/. The next day I spent all day helping my mom cook and we also went to the zoo to see their christmas lights. Today was thanksgiving so naturally I had dinner with my family, then we went to a movie, and then we went to a silly midnight Macy's sale. We just got back not too long ago, and I realised it had been ages since I posted properly, so that's what i'm going to try to do now. Hurrah!
