What i meant by that was you saying that you accept that death could come at any moment, and are still not afraid, does not meant that you have no fear of death, because the reality is you still don't expect death to come for a long time. You could say to yourself... "when i drive today, I could get into a huge car accident and die" and you could think that your lack of fear means you don't fear death, but that lack of fear is meaningless, because despite what you say, to others and to yourself, you do NOT expect death to come, and you do NOT actually feel that it is near. When you actually do feel it, you WILL be scared.

You say "dude i could totally die at any second, and i, like, accept that, man" but you really don't expect to die for a long long time

What I'm suggesting is that you only think you're not afraid because you know death is so far away. And when the moment finally arrives, you'll be terrified. We all will.
