If you want something cheap and powerfull that can remotely be named a gaming laptop choose the AMD A-series apus.

3. cheapest z77 motherboard ~100$
4. cheapest 8gb ddr3 ram kit ~30$
5.Antec three hundred case ~50$
6. good power supply ~100$ atleast 500w
7. any HDD, typical 2tb ~120$
The first four are mandatory for the best value/pirce gaming system the rest is of your preference. You can put these into any configurator and most companies will build you a PC with the parts you selected (newegg, ncix).

Might aswell sell the ore and do it with mithril bars which can ne now heated with profit, faster xp/hour and more efficient in general.

Yes, same thing happening here. I guess its been about a month or so. I believe it is because jagex now implements its anti-bot feature to check you for botting during game loading and intern it made a game lag like HOLYSDSDSshait when it does do that.

Is it just me or Runescape is becoming just another mmorpg instead of being something different, not better in particular, but rs always had its own appeal in a way which was what it was and made certain type of people really enjoy this game.

My FPS in max settings directly before update: 10-15
FPS now: 45-50
Anyone else been experiencing increased telelag and loading lag since this fix?Yes that is my only complaint.
Yes, epic proportions eveytime I load up a new area memory usage just "runs wild" rs then disconnects, blacks out and all I can do is restart the utility.
FPS is good though, used to get 5-6 fps in dg lobby, now its like 25-26 :) just the way it was before bot nuke.

How much money are you willing to spend? Your current system is a bit outdated and that Nvidia chipset motherboard from asrock isnt any good.
I would currently buy:
i5-3570k 250$
cheapeast z77 mobo ~100$
amd hd 7750/7770 150-200$
any 8gb ddr3 ram kit ~50$ max
That would be the optimal price/performance system available at the moment in my view. Also you didn't state which graphics adapter you have and your PSU model is also unknown. You can get your gfx status from GPUZ utility, download from techpowerup.com.

We need to go back to Runescape 1 not 3 if you get what I mean.
When I started playing rs wasn't about shiny armour or stuff or wings or any other bs like any other mmorpg, it was special.
It was about the community and having fun, raising levels was secondary, that all changed when in 2007 skill capes arrived and suddenly everyone had to get one.
If you actually look at the number of hits runescape.com site has been getting its been going straight down since... you guessed it - 2007.. the community simply just isn't there anymore.
All these futile attempts by jagex to revive the game and make money are horrendous, they don't realize what made this game so popular in the first place(2003-2007) in the "golden age" of rs there wasn't any "eye candy" to speak of.
Besides since the bot bust the game is practically broken for many players (me included) because of the performance issues even on a powerful machine its unplayable. At least for me and seeing the constant memory leaks I can only contend that its 100% developers fault.

Have you tried different OS/CD? I bet something wrong with the particular CD or CD burner.

Recently fried my old pc so I've decided to get an upgrade, I'm looking for a laptop that can run rs on atleast 30+ fps, I have a budget of $300. Any suggestions??
Ugh.. 300$ dollars not gonna get anything more than integrated graphics.
The new AMD a-series notebooks are good price-performance wise the cheapest Ive seen on neweeg were at ~400ish would look at them if you have gaming in mind.

What costit and what is profit?
Search "superheat item" on runescape.wikia.com they have a table there showing all calculations on all ores.
