Yes, same thing happening here. I guess its been about a month or so. I believe it is because jagex now implements its anti-bot feature to check you for botting during game loading and intern it made a game lag like HOLYSDSDSshait when it does do that.

We need to go back to Runescape 1 not 3 if you get what I mean. When I started playing rs wasn't about shiny armour or stuff or wings or any other bs like any other mmorpg, it was special. It was about the community and having fun, raising levels was secondary, that all changed when in 2007 skill capes arrived and suddenly everyone had to get one. If you actually look at the number of hits runescape.com site has been getting its been going straight down since... you guessed it - 2007.. the community simply just isn't there anymore. All these futile attempts by jagex to revive the game and make money are horrendous, they don't realize what made this game so popular in the first place(2003-2007) in the "golden age" of rs there wasn't any "eye candy" to speak of. Besides since the bot bust the game is practically broken for many players (me included) because of the performance issues even on a powerful machine its unplayable. At least for me and seeing the constant memory leaks I can only contend that its 100% developers fault.

Ugh.. 300$ dollars not gonna get anything more than integrated graphics. The new AMD a-series notebooks are good price-performance wise the cheapest Ive seen on neweeg were at ~400ish would look at them if you have gaming in mind.
