  1. This is ~~Clan Construction... RELOADED~~ Thank you FalconBomba for this amazing idea and letting me replublish it! Thank you everyone else who's shown their suppor tto the ide aand given their own suggestions to it. If you supported this idea but did not show up on the supporters list please say and I will put you on. The only problem is I can't get the pictures to work so if someone could help me I would be very grateful. From the birds beak... ~~Clan Construction~~ Kind Regards Dark_Leader
  2. Jagex has full rights to use this idea, if they want to and mix it about. The idea is called "Clan Construction," I bet there are many of these out there but these are my ideas for it. You can buy a deed to a small area of land in the multidimensional-wildy, this way many could exist in a world or multiple worlds (more on this later). If you had some friends with lvl 50 construction or over you could start work on your land. [hide=Level 1 deeds] Regeneration installations: Among the first things you can do is start a "camp fire" which will be a fire that takes a day to go out or so. It will give a slight boost to your hp regeneration if you or your friend owns the land. It will take lvl 30 firemaking and 5 yew logs. Then you can work on putting some tents up with 2 cowhides, 1 rope, 5 nails and 2 wool. These will also increase your hp restoration speed when within 3 spaces of it and you need lvl 51 construction. Walls: After you have a couple of those you can start putting up sections of walls. You'll need lvl 53 construction and for a single space wall segment you'll need 3 yew logs, and 10 nails. These just keep enroaching enimies out like pker's or npc's that will visit your camp like bears, giant rats, etc. These will become stronger visits by npcs as your camp grows. Certain things may keep them away like the camp fire keeps away giant rats. Mini-bank: Then you can make a small, bank-like tent at lvl 56 construction that you can keep 10 items of your choice in that no one can access but you, your pin will carry over but this will be a seperate bank. It need 3 times the amount of materials needed for a normal tent. Watchtower: The next advancement will come at lvl 58, you will need 3 people working on this at one time. This is the start of "clan construction." You will need 20 yew logs and 100 nails. This will create a watchtower. It gives a bonus to rangers and mages in them, it also keeps them off the ground from meleers. Side note: I know that construction is usually done with planks but, that is gonna be later in clan construction as the walls and things will look more like the walls of the barbarian village and they remind me of just a couple sharpened logs.[/hide] [hide=Level 2 deeds] You can upgrade the deed for like 200k so you get a little more land and can continue to make it better. Now is when you will start using planks. For lvl 2 land deed clan construction is where you start getting better stuff for the price. You will also need a second person for all of them other than the walls, moat, and the mining patches. Moat around the walls: At lvl 60 construction you can dig a moat around the walls, all you need is a shovel and a little time as each section of 1 space will take about 30sec, depending on your construction skill and then fill it in with a bucket of water for each space. This will not do much yet but, it will greatly benifit you later as it is upgraded. As for now it will deter npc's up to bears and provide an always avaliable water supply. You can also buy fish up to anchovies for it so you have a constant food supply avaliable. Walls: Limestone reinforcements Another upgrade is avaliabe at lvl 61 construction, you use 2 limestone bricks on each wall section to upgrade them to stone walls that will give those around them a slight def. boost. At lvl 63 construction you can upgrade your tents to small huts that take up about the same space. You will need to use 10 maple planks and 50 nails on each tent to upgrade them. You can get a higher restoration boost from it. (Don't know if you can go in them yet... probably if they are like a little smaller than some of the barbarian village huts.) Mining patch and Blacksmith's workshop: Another big addition comes at lvl 65 construction and lvl 35 mining, this is where you can look at land outside your fort and with 100 of a type of copper or tin at lvl 35 mining and a rock of that will appear on the outskirts of your land. (At lvl 35 mining, you get copper and tin, lvl 42 mining you get iron, lvl 51 you add a coal rock, lvl 59 you can add a mith rock, lvl 75 can add an addy rock, and finally at lvl 97 you can add a rune rock.) What do you do with all that ore? At lvl 66 you can build a furnace and anvils by upgrading a hut you made earlier with 50 steel bars and 500 coal. It will grow a little but not by much so it will take up not a whole lot more space about the size of the lumby furnace with a little less space and 2 anvils. Mini-Bank update: +15 spots Your little bank-like tent too small? Well with 69 construction you can build an upgrade that will use 25 maple planks and 100 nails and you will be able to have a 25 bank-like space instead of 10. Watchtower update: Limestone reinforcements At lvl 69 construction you can use 10 limestone bricks on your watch towers to upgrade them to guard towers. These give greater boosts to magic and and range attack. The Keep: At lvl 71 construction with 5 people you can start building the most impressive part of lvl 2 clan construction deeds, the keep. You will need a lot of materials, 50 limestone bricks, 100 maple planks, 40 steel bars, and 500 nails. What is this big price worth? You get a big building that takes up a large interior of your fort. It will give a semi-large bonus to any att type, doubles as a chapel with a small altar in the middle of the building, and includes kitchen with 2 ranges, respawning flour, milk, pot, pie tin, bowl, and a sink. It also has a second floor with watchtower benifits as it has 3 turrets, one on each corner of the main building where you can fire on people below. That is the end of lvl 2 additions. (Random time: What do you do with a B.A. in english...what is my life to be...) if anyone can figure what that is, big huge cookie for you. (Cookie cannot be returned for large size and I am not responsible for any injury or harm the cookie may cause...lol) [/hide] [hide=Level 3 deeds] At lvl 73 construction these will start with a 200k investment into a larger land size and the ability to start these new constructions. You will need at least 3 people for each of these other than the moats or walls. Moat upgrade: Canal and the Maple bridge I'll tell about the moat, it may not seem useful in its current state but, once we get into this you will see why its important. It needs 73 construction to work on and you will be upgrading it to a canal, it will need a shovel and a bucket of water for each section like the moat except you will be making the moat wider by 2 spaces on the side. This will look like just a large moat but, later things you build on it will be very important. You will be able to stock it with fish up to pike now too from the fishing tutor to cook. You will also be given the option of building a bridge at lvl 73 construction so you can cross the canal. It will take 10 maple planks and 30 nails. Nothing special but, now you can get across your canal. Gates: Now about that hole in your wall as you may wonder about where enemies may get in, all of this can be solved with a gate that you can build at lvl 74 construction. It will cost 20 maple planks and 50 nails. Now you will have a door that you can open and close, your enemies are kept out in the rain unless they have a lvl 35 theiving skill, then they can open it. There will be upgrades later to improve this. Walls upgrade: Last upgrade... Granite reinforcements At lvl 75 construction you get the last upgrade to your walls. You will need 1 granite for each wall space. This will improve the def. bonus that it gives off by 3 and increases its radius by 1 space. You can also spruce it up by later adding gold leaf if you want to, no real reason for it other than it looks better. (A long strip of gold on top of your walls) The walls will look like fally's with a gold strip in other words. Remember that's OPTIONAL. Transportation: Canoes! Ok, your fort is taking shape, but how are you going to get to the rest of the rs land quickly? At lvl 76 construction you can build an area onto your cannal that allows you to get going quickly to and from the fort. You can dig a 2 by 2 hole on the ege of your cannal, then use 4 chinchompas (or whatever their called) on it to open a large hole that is connected to an underground stream. You then buy a canoe making station from the woodcutting tutor and make a canoe and ride it into the hole, you'll travel to the big river and you can use the river like normal to get somewhere. You can also do the opposite and make a canoe from a shore on the river and ride it to another hole to the fort. Easy transport! Hut upgrade: Limestone At lvl 77 construction you can increase your health regeneration even further by making your better, adding 10 limestone bricks to them huts of yours. Also at lvl 77 you can build a home teleport portal in the middle of the grounds. You need the same materials as you do to in a poh. Nothing special there, now you can just head home when you want to be away from the fort for awhile. Note: You have to either walk, run, or canoe back to the fort after going home. Tannery: At lvl 78 construction you can build a tannery on your site. Using 40 maple planks, 100 nails, 50 hides, 5 bowls, 5 bronze wire, and buying the rest of the stuff from the tanner in Al Kharid. It will be instant tanning of your things by using them on the objects in there like vats, line, etc. There will also be a respawn of 5 thread and a needle. Great for quickly making those dragonhides you got out in the wildy into hides and armor. Not having to traverse a continent to do so. Docks: At lvl 80 construction you can build a dock... here is where it gets intresting. You know that big ocean in the wildy? Here is my thought, all the land deed will be on a coast. This is where Jagex can take it away, all I'll say is you build it and you can fish for lobs and above. Maybe an upgrade could make boats... maybe I'll continue that thought later... well the dock will cost 20 maple planks, 10 iron bars, and 50 nails. They will look like a large version of the fishing dock at Karamja. Watchtower last upgrade: Magic tower At lvl 81 construction you can upgrade the guardtowers for the last time. To a mage's tower. It will still be giving a boost to rangers but, it's mages boost will be larger and it will look more magical. A big spire turning round from the base and coming from the top like a large cone or bell. It needs 5 granite, 1 magic stone, 2 gold leaf and 5 teak planks. It will be like a +6 10 range att. and +16 mage att. for those inside. (hey it may be worth the cost when a larger npc monster comes... maybe a blue dragon...) Mini-bank building last upgrade: +10 spots At lvl 83 construction you can upgrade the bank-like building to its best form. You will need 10 limestone bricks, 2 granite, 1 gold leaf, and 10 teak planks. You will then be able to store 35 items in it. Keep upgrade: Keep becomes a castle! The final upgrade for lvl 3 land deed is to the keep, to become a small castle; at lvl 86 construction you will need 20 granite, 5 marble, 10 teak planks, 5 mahogany planks, 2 magic stones, 5 gold leaf, and 150 nails. You will also need 7 people working on it at once. The second floor will be completed between the turrets will be a room with 2 spinning wheels and a large table like in a dinning room in a poh, you can laden it with food and it could be an area for clan leaders to have meetings. There is a final floor with just a final mage's tower. The att. and def. bonus for the clan and allies in it will also be boosted to a +15 all stats for all those who are in it. That stacks with the people in the mages tower who can shoot down into the grounds if need be, or defend the floor below it that is in view. Dock upgrade: Fishing boats At lvl 88 constrtuction you can upgrade the dock with 40 maple planks, 100 nails, 10 rope, 30 steel bars, and 20 limestone bricks. From here you can build small 1 person boats that you need 15 maple boards, 50 nails, and 2 of any fishing device to use. You can have small net fishing boat, large net fishing boat, harpoon fishing boat, etc. You can go find some fishing spot off the coast and get 2 times the amount of fishing in the same amount of time since you have a larger pot, longer harpoon, bigger nets, etc. Most of the ideas I've got for lvl 4 deal with the boats but, a couple to improve the base itself. Last, like really last wall upgrade: Stakes I thought of another upgrade for the walls at lvl 89 construction. You need lvl 70 wc for this (unless you want to buy the stakes). With an axe in your inventory to make yew longs into stakes that you use on the walls. You could either buy them but, 70 wc is needed to do it yourself. You take yew logs and use axe on them to make them into stakes, then you use 1 stake on each wall segment. This means that each 20 seconds that an enemy stands in 1 space of it they take 2 damage. If it is your fort you don't take damage. Gate update: Hitpoints or Thieving? At lvl 89 construction you can use 50 steel bars to reinforce your gate and give it 150 hp or 45 thieving. Not much to explain there. Dock Dwarven Auto Cannon/Boat categories: Gallies At lvl 90 construction you can start building a gally, they are small ships but, larger than the fishing boats and can be manned by 2-3 people. They can be used for something that could lead to a new skill. (Exploration, after I finish clan construction ideas I'll start on that.) It can also be used to carry some men along the wildy's coast to deploy or fire upon enimies from if they are within range from the ship, you must be using range or magic for that though. You need 30 maple planks, 75 nails, 15 steel bars, and 5 rope. It can be upgraded with 5 fishing implements to double as a large fishing boat that gathers 2 times faster with the people on board all working on it. At lvl 91 construction you can upgrade your dock once again with a dwarven auto-cannon, 20 steel bars, a cannon ball mold, and 50 cannon balls. It will then have an unlimited supply of cannon balls and doesn't detriorate. It will fire at any enemy ships or people. Pretty simple. Seige workshop: At lvl 92 you can build a very special building in the fort. A seige workshop! The weapons constructed here will be especially useful for attacking other forts. To build the workshop you need 9 people working on it, 30 limestone bricks, 60 maple planks, 20 ropes, 10 granite, 150 nails, and 25 swamp tar. From here you can build special weapons that can only be used in the clan fort/area. They include rockets that you need 2 swamp tars, 1 steel arrow, and 1 ball of wool. You fire them from a bow and they do damage to anyone within 3 spaces radius of the person hit. (they look like large fireworks, thats it) Another weapon that you can make from the workshop is for use of hand-to-hand fighters. It is a claymore, just an extra-large 2h. You need 2 steel bars for an inlaid and then the normal bars you need for the type of 2h you want+1 more bar of that type. (4 bars of a type+2 steel bars.) It can do better damage than a 2h and is an area affect of 2 squares next to the target only with 3 damage less than that hit. (You need the smithing lvl to make the 2h.) The last special weapon is for mages. It increases the strength of your spells by 25%. It costs a lot to make though. 1000 of each rune that you need for the spell. You then have to use it with a staff of your choice, mystic through regular. You still have to use the right runes but, their just more effective and devestating. Oh, before I forget, the rules of the clan battle forts are the same as the wildy and the arena. You can bet cash, armor, wepons, etc. and everyone in the clans has to bet at least a minimum set by the clan leaders. (there will be clan leaders and rank I believe from the august behind the scenes.) [/hide] [hide=Level 4 deeds] Well, this is it. I will now make the end of the lvl 4 deed ideas. These take you all the way to lvl 99 construction. Thee will be no lvl 5 because I'm at the limit. but, I will make an upgrades post after this that give you a little better versions of your stuff, an npc attack list, and formalize the rules for the clan fort wars. Traps and Trap workshop: At lvl 93 construction you can start construction of a trap workshop. This is like the siege workshop in some senses. You will make traps here that you can place throughout the battlefield in the fort wars. You will need 40 maple planks, 25 ropes, 5 granite, 100 nails, 20 steel bars, and 20 limestone bricks. The things you can build are noose traps, which all you need is a nail and a rope. You can carry them into the battlefield and string them up on trees. If an enemy gets within 1 space of it they get stuck there for 10 seconds and cant't fire or move as they hang from a tree. You can also build bear traps with 1 steel bar and 4 nails. These are used to do some damage, they do 2-3 damage when an enemy steps on where you've hidden it. Another trap at is grapeshot, not really a trap as much as an anti-boat device which you make by taking a cannonball and two studs. This allows your cannonballs that attack ships to do damage to up to 4 infantry. (It is a little less than a full hit on each of them but, can be devestating.) A final trap is that tripwire we love. (or not if your the one that trips it) You need 2 balls of wool and 2 nails. These alert you to an enemy presence and also make them fall for 5 seconds that they can't fight. If I was to use these I would set them up in around my base and if you are going to attack the enemy it might be wise to set some traps around a point where you will group up so you can't be ambushed. Dock upgrade/Boat categories: Caravels: At lvl 94 construction you can upgrade your dock once again to make it bigger. 30 more maple planks, 20 more steel bars, 75 nails, and 10 ropes. You can also fit another multi-cannon on it. At lvl 95 construction you can start building caravels that can be equiped with a multi-cannon and the same fishing equipment as a galley. You need 100 maple planks, 200 nails, 20 rope, 20 silk, 30 steel bars, and 10 balls of wool. This is an exploration vessel for the exploration skill and can be used to carry 10 people. It can also fire upon an enemy fort. (They can fire back, once everyone on board is dead, the ship sinks with everything on it.) Embassy room (Alliance meetings): At lvl 96 construction you can build an embessy room. It is an upgrade for the castle, the big room for the meetings will be upgraded. It needs 10 maple planks, 20 teak planks, 10 mahogany planks, 1 gold leaf, and 90 nails. It is here where that in a more than 1 on 1 battle can make alliances. The effects can be amazing. A free for all between 4 clans can become 1 alliance against 2 clans. This is where 2 clans work together to fight off the other enemys. They then share the prizes and don't lose their bettings. You may get less but, it could save you losing your stuff. Farming patch: At lvl 97 construction you get acess to a farming patch. You need lvl 25 farming to build this too. You need 20 maple planks, 5 super compost, 40 nails, and 5 normal compost. You then get 5 farming patches by the dock that the clan can grow some extra food in. Dock becomes a pork! I mean, a port! Boat category: Iron-Rune Clad: At lvl 98 construction you get the last upgrade for your dock, it becomes a port. You need 80 maple planks, 160 nails, 40 steel bars, 35 rope, 20 limestone bricks, and 5 granite. You can also build another auto-cannon on the port. At lvl 99 construction you can build the master of all boats, an iron clad. To build one you need 200 of a certain bar. (You can make a rune clad if you really want...) Then you need 800 nails, 400 maple planks, 50 rope, 100 coal, and 75 balls of wool. What is worth this expense? equiping up to 3 auto-cannons, carrying up to 25 people, giving a +25 defense to all stats, +5 to all offensive stats, (at iron lvl, goes up by 5 to defense and offense every level of armor, aka. steel +30, +10, mith +35, +15, etc.) and the fastest transport ship. [/hide] That is all my ideas for clan construction, don't worry, there will be a little more. Just upgrades. Hope you enjoy and I'll start a support list when I'm done. [hide=War rules -- no poking each other with frozen bananas ]As for the rules, I stated some about how it starts. But, if you die in the game you a reborn in the middle of the battlefield with full armor, weps, etc. You can destroy anything in the lvl 1 mode but, after lvl 1 deed, things other than the gate can't be destroyed other than traps. (They're made of stone by then, you can't burn stone.) It ends by which team gets the most points and the timer goes off. You have 10 min for the game. A team gets 1 point for killing someone, 2 points for killing a leader, 3 points for sinking a fishing ship, 4 points for sinking a gally, 5 points for sinking a caravel, and 6 points for an iron clad. (you get 10 for sinking a rune clad, 8 for an addy, 7 for a mith and steel.)[/hide] [hide=Small upgrades]Ok these are some small upgrades you can get for your fort. The upgrades for the buildings are also the same lvl you can make it. The tents you can use 10 balls of wool, and 5 wool to make a blanket and pillow that increases the regeneration speed. (You can do this with any of the housing) The fires in the fort can be upgraded with an iron spit to give the ability to cook some other stuff. You can add lanterns to the watchtowers and upgrades by using bullseye lanterns on each one, this wards off npcs and gives a +1 def and att to range and magic. The bridge can be made fire-proof by using 10 steel bars on it. In the furnace room, you can build a cabinet with 4 maple planks, 20 nails, and 2 steel bars. It gives free hammers and chisels. This sums up small upgrades. Next is the npcs that attack Well here is the last installment into the clan construction. This is about the npc's that will attack during construction mode and during the battle mode. At lvl 1 you can be attacked by a horde of lvl 1 chickens, lvl 2 giant spiders, lvl 6 giant rats, lvl 15 unicorns, and lvl 19 bears. At lvl 2 you can be attacked by a horde of lvl 19 bears, lvl 17 barabarians (can wield melee and ranged weapons), lvl 21 guards of the battlefield (guards in a funky camo-like uniform but, still guards with the same stats), lvl 25 skeletons, and lvl 28 hobgoblins. At lvl 3 you can be attacked by hordes of lvl 28 hobgoblins, lvl 34 giant red spiders, lvl 25 wizards, lvl 58 moss giants, lvl 59 fire giants, and lvl 60 ice giants. (The giants may come in mixed groups.) At lvl 4 you start getting attacked by more powerful enimies... starting out with a giant horde of lvl 58 moss giants, lvl 59 fire giants, and lvl 60 ice giants, then a group of lvl 82 3-5 lesser demons, then 2 lvl 92 greater demons, a lvl 109 green dragon. (or whatever lvl green dragons are supposed to be, I'm f2p so I'm not totally sure.) You can protect yourself from lvl 1 monsters by building a bonfire to keep away chickens, walls to keep away giant rats and giant spiders, lanterns in the watch towers keep away unicorns and bears. You can protect yourself from lvl 2 monsters by upgrading your walls to protect against barbarians, a moat to protect against the guards of the battlefield, an upgrade for the watchtowers defends against the skeletons but, the hobgoblins keep coming till next lvl. You can protect yourself from lvl 3 monsters by upgrading your moat to protect from hobgoblins, upgrade the walls for protection from red spiders, and the upgrade for the castle brings protection from the moss and fire giants but, not the ice giants. You can protect yourself from lvl 4 monsters by upgrading your walls with the stakes to keep the giants away, the rest you have to fight through. I'll try to sum this all up in one post later. [/hide] Dark_Leader's suggestion: Woot thanks, you and Harrinator1 have been a big help with this thread. [hide=~~Fighting With Your Fort~~] [hide=~~Introduction~~]Instead of 2 or 3 forts in each world in each world let there a be portal/npc in somewhere like edgeville and if you click on/talk to it It's comes up with an interface. Hang on brief interruption. There are 5+ copies or the wildy on each world called battle ground (the number of it).Back to main thing. [/hide] [hide=~~Getting In~~] On the interface would be the list of all the battlegrounds and Join first available battleground (self explanatory). And if you had a deed of any level there would also be an option of go to my Fort, Which would take you to your fort. Then if someone in your clan needed to come in you just add them to your friends list then when they click on the portal/talk to npc they can select. Go to Friends house then type in the person's name and only the people on the fort owners friends list could get in.[/hide] [hide=~~Getting Ready To Fight~~] Once all your clan friends are in the leader can exit through a portal in their fort to go back to edgeville and select a battle ground to play on or first available Each battle ground can hold 4 forts (jagex's decision). If the battleground has spaces left all the people in the clan leader̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s fort and the clan leader are transported with their fort to the battleground. On goes the fighting. But if the battleground doesn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t have any spaces left and is in a game there is a waiting queue which you are put in and when the current round ends the next 4 in the queue go in.[/hide] [hide=~~Fighting~~] It̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s a bit like castle wars but with much more fun. To put it simply with your forts you try and get into the other people forts with all the different ways FalconBomba has made up and you have to get in an enemies fort and click on the option of their main keep/tent whatever and select takeover. This will start a 60 second countdown and if that time runs out without the person who selected ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Åtake over̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
