  1. Some of the most problematic individuals I've dealt with during my clanlife have been older players. In fact the first clan I joined was supposedly an adult-only clan. I wound up leaving due to all the middle school drama, if that tells you anything. I think clans with teens AND adults are preferable - where age doesn't really matter so much as the maturity of the individual, and where the leadership is strong enough to remove disruptively immature members (again, in terms of behaviour as opposed to age).
  2. There's a post by a Jmod on the official Runescape forums asking for information about each clan - leader's name, # of members, how long it's been around. Do you think it's just a fact-finding post so they can get a good idea of how many clans exist, or do you think it's precursor to clan tags or in-game "clan management" updates? I'm hoping it's a sign that we'll get some more clan-based updates soon.. like team capes that work on f2p or everyone in a clan chat being a different colored dot from other opponents or even.. gasp.. an in-game clan management system like rappelz, WoW, 2moons has. But I'm not holding my breath. :) If you want to submit your clan's info, the qfc for the thread on Runescape forums is 44-45-773-48906606.
  3. It's been pretty handy during events sor far, though it will never replace IRC (for MoD, at least). It's nice to be able to communicate with everyone at the same time without trying to outspam the people next to you. It's much more efficient than what I used to do to relay information to people who can't use IRC.. PM the same things / answer the same questions to 10 people at a time. :oops:
  4. I was really surprised with some of the clans that closed.. RSA, HoF, RDC, etc. Just seems like it's been a bad summer for the clan world overall. Hopefully things will pick up come fall.
