I take offense to this question. From your post you are conveying that you do not respect players that have level 99 in Fletching or Cooking. I find this extremely ignorant. A 99 is a 99, whether it's Cooking or Herblore. Have you ever considered that some players actually like these skills just for what they are? I've been a fan of Fletching ever since it's release and had absolutely no second thoughts about leveling it to 99.
The thing Jagex needs to realise is that the modifed clients are not hurt by these random events - it's the rule obeying players that are being subject to unneccessary and excessive random event occurances. They need to introduce a new CAPTCHA system - they were on the right path with the original fatigue system. The only problem is it needs to be a system ran directly from the runescape servers and streamed live to the clients to run - therefore modified clients can not just get around them. The CAPTCHA system would need to be incorporated into the game in a fun way - unlike the original fatigue system on RS1. The current random events have actually made it easier for modified client users to cheat. It's just a disgrace.
