  1. i don't know if anyone has already covered this, but, the word noob (or n00b) is used to describe someone the is ignorant or stupid (on the first page someone said something about knowing EVERYTHING about RS, thats not true) example: a lvl 125 selling obby cape for 600k (yes ive seen it happen) that would be a price n00b however, the word newb is to describe someone new e.g. newbie. and it doesnt matter what some ones lvl is, what matters is how long you've been playing. ive been playing since runescape classic was the only runescape; so it would be ok for me to call a lvl 125 that's been playing for a few months a newb even if my current character is only lvl 85
