You do realize that dragons breath fire from a distance? Also, it's possible to do it with Ice Barrage or binding spells (if he can be frozen/bound). Just freeze/bind him, and mage/range him from a distance. Either that, or melee him with antifire pots and DDS. This is all for members, of course.. If you're F2P... not much of a chance; it's all up to luck then.~Lunar

Probably where I am now, minus a few quests.
-
Well, I've decided to start a blog. I'll start with some goals that I might actually achieve someday in the not-so distant future. I apologize for the lack of screenies and a bank pic, but since I run fedora core on my computer, I don't think I can post upload any.
The goals!
Firemaking: 60/61/70
Strength: 87/87/90
Quests: 220/220/235
Firemaking is just a skill that for some absolutely insane reason is fun to train. I camp out north of seers with a rune axe & tinderbox and burn the maple logs I cut.
I've always wanted a quest cape, and I enjoy doing quests. I occasionally use a guide if I'm really frustrated or just in a lazy mood.
Strength is my favorite of the combat skills, as I think it has the most to do with power per combat level. I use a dragon scim for training, and I train in a variety of places: ankous in the security stronghold, cyclopses in the warriors' guild, and castle wars for fun. My ultimate goal is 99, but for now Im going for 90.

Barrows gloves disappear, I'm not sure about the torso, but I think you can pick them up.
-
I don't exactly know, but they seemed to hit me less in yak, than in torag.
-
Barrows gloves give +6 magic bonus.
-
Do you have to wield it when killing the cyclopses?
-
I'd say no, but if you have a little time, and need a good laugh, then do it. Just don't be expecting great rewards.
-
Well, I've had my obby shield for quite some time now, but ever since defenders came out that attack bonus has begun to look very appealing. I've spent a few days (And a couple k tokens) in the warriors guild, but I've only gotten up to iron. Am I doing something wrong? I'd just like someone with a rune defender to answer a few quick questions.
1) Does a ring of wealth increase the chances of a defender drop?
2) Which of the minigames is the best way to get tokens? (Apart from defence, as I don't train that.)
3) How many tokens did it take you to get your rune defender?
I'd send this to Jagex, but I just got back a query I sent in early October, so I don't have a great deal of confidence in the expediency of customer support.

I take my pendant of lucian on quests and wear whenever i'm alching. :|
-
They messed with the cw rocks...?! Those ........! I support changing the rocks back.
-
Way to murder the berserker jagex.
-
They always come back. Good luck though.
-
Good luck, just don't eat that easter egg.
I was expecting a chainsaw though...

Yea... At 87 strength I can natural 26.As a level 104, I usually find myself getting owned by noobs who have no other perception of tactics other than attacking things..I love level 60's... "im gonna go get the flag and run"..
Right.. :wall:
Its really crazy to get these high stats only to miss alot.
The probably only "real" good stat is strength because it does show!
By the way.. how are you hitting 28's with 85 strength? My natural is 24 with whip at 84 strength.. o.O

What he means is that the majority of the time he can replenish his runes used at the chest. I use around 50 casts per trip, and usually get the runes for more than I used. If I don't, the extra runes from previous trips lets me continue. And all chaos and blood = profit \
Who ever said you have to by airs......? Anyways, your saying you can do a billion trips with only 70 deaths and 280 minds? If so get a video of it, so all of tip.it knows your a lier, I mean great at barrowsi hybrid barrows, so i only used around 70 casts, which is 70 deaths, 280 minds. the rest of the time, i use dds/dscim/whip on karil and ahrim. i normally get more runes than i sue, so i actually make a profit, and i dont evem have to buy air runes. -
Not all lures are blatantly obvious.I have never lured before and I think its pretty cheap but its acceptable because who ever is the victim should have used common sense and an educated guess to predict whats going to happen next. -
This is what I did, cost about 500k and was rather quick.Cut willow to Willow Longbow(u) from level 40 to 70.Use the magic planner to figure your mage level using high alchemy. http://tip.it/runescape/?page=magic_planner.htm

The rune axe special is your friend.
-
This, my friend, is a pathetic attempt at a scam. And I think I've heard this letter before...
-
For members or non-members, draynor willows are fast experience. Just make sure you aren't mistaken for an autoer.
-
I've done every cat uqest in the game with my kitten. Patience, you will get the rats eventually.

This represents my views very well. And as far as the debate whether this is reportable, Andrew's word is law.One of the J-Mods, (Mod Mark if memory serves me properly), stated VERY CLEARLY during the height of the Oziach lure, on RSOF, that pretending to trade someone while really luring them into the wilderness violates Runescape rule 2. This was confirmed 15 minutes later by Mod Andrew, who posted on the same thread.Since then, posts on RSOF have always been answered "Yes, it's item scamming." Player mods in game usually respond "no". Customer support has answered both ways.
In my opinion, yes it's scamming. Just because someone is doing something stupid doesn't make it right to deceive them. Anyone who utilizes trade lures for money is a pathetic, cheating moron who can not make it himself.
Note: This is only with regards to trade lures. I have nothing against PKing lures or the item drop lures. People who fall for these accept these risks as they WILLINGLY entered the wilderness, knowing that they accept the risk that they will be killed, unlike trade lures, which attempt to deceive the victim into thinking that the trade is occurring on the border of the wilderness, without actually being in the wilderness.
Abyssal Whip special attack: Useless again monsters?

The whip special also has slightly increased accuracy, although it is still inferior to something like a mace or dagger, it does have some effect.
