I recently got a ring of life and according to tip.it database, it will teleport me to the castle in Lumdrum (whatever it's called) when my hit points fall to 10%. Does this only happen once and the ring is destroyed or will it happen as long as I have the ring? Thanks.

I want to travel in the wilderness but all the warnings have me worried. What skill levels should I be in order to feel relatively safe to travel? Where should I start. The stores only give 16gp/log. Do you try to sell logs individually or in bulk? Are people buying these logs for a reason? In other words should I be saving my logs instead of selling. I've only been playing for 4 days and not very high level. Thanks. bubbab39
