  1. arctic pine is from teh freem isle quest

no i did not watch the history channel

i think they should be able to break when making but not once made

and its just that the trees are used fro something and we've got enough longs and shorts

  2. I have been thinking, (not a good sign), and I realized that there are three Runescape trees that aren't used for very many things. Teak, Mahogany, and Arctic Pine. Now I did some internet research and found a type of bow called the "recurve". A recurve is essentially a longbow with the tips of the limbs curving away from the archer, allowing a greater amount of accuracy then longbows, shortbows, or composite bows. This bow was used during the Middle Ages which is the time period set for Runescape. My proposal is to use these three trees to make recurve bows. If anyone has realized it, the bow choices for higher levels isn't very big, and I think that with the addition of recurves, rangers can have more options and become more flexible. So, I'm thinking:

    Teak Recurve- 50 Range

    Mahogany Recurve- 60 Range

    Arctic Recurve- 70 Range

    Tell me what you think!!!!!

  3. Green Dhide (T) chaps or Studded (T) chaps.

Never seen either before, rare enough to make me think JaGeX never released them in treasure trails.

As you can see from my signature, I don't have a pair either. Been offering 1M+, but never found a seller.

i got a pair of t chaps on my pure if you still want em

anyway i think that the rarest nonrare item is...

    um...

mudskipper hats you barely see them

  4. I'm not really in to helping people with things, but every now and again I do. I never help the realy low levels. I feel they need to be able to to figure out where things are and such, because if you help a really low level, they become to depends on the help from the higher levels, causing them to think that all higher level are here to help them. I will help like 40 and p though, because those are the ones that generally genuinely need the help. I'll give out free stuff occasionally, but not to those that ask. I've made full iron went to f2p world and jsut handed it to some low level. I'm not cruel, I just feel that some of the lower levels need to learn thing by themselves when they genuinely don't need the help. I was on my pure whos level 27, when a level 25 came up and said "wanna fight?" I politely said it would be unfair to you as I'm a pure and my range is 39. He said "Oh thanks for warning me." That's the kind of thing I do.

  5.

    sorry about double post

The Ava Attactor Thing brings back ogre arrows, even though there isn't any metal in them. I've also heard it brings back kebbit bolts. That means that Runescape bones have some sort or mineral within them that contain magnetic properties. Weird, I think so. Useless, I think so also. (If someone would test this with bone bolts, I would be very happy. And it would also help prove my theory.)

bones are made of calcium sulphate its a metal...:P

ya but usually not enough to contain magnetic properties, i mean these bones would have to be made of a large amount of metal, calcium sulphate isnt magnetic enouhg, the sulphate kinda cancels it out

(btw caclicum sulphate isnt a metal, its a compound formed of a metal (calcium) and a nonmetal (sulfur)) i believe the formula is C2SO4

i've tested bone bolts also, they come back.

no i try the long and shot kebbit bolts, and my theory of mettallic bones in rs will be complete.

If anyone can think of something else to try with attractor tell me

jeezus!!! bones are made out of primarily calcium phosphate, which is NOT a metal and not magnetic (in the real world). neither calcium nor phosphate alone are magnetic either. The only explanation is that either jagex made a mistake, or ava's attractor/accumulator is magical and can pick up bones that don't exist in real life.

I still like my bones is metal theory...

  6.

    range by far

    mage is jsut to expensive

there are so many different kinds of bows

enchanted bolts are fun to use (when a level 60 get stuck in jade (e) rocks and starts screaming cause he cant move)

hitting constantly with range (mage tends to not hit while my cbow hits through rune armor)

ava's attractor gives your range stuff back, nothing like that for runes. you use em and there gone.

range is sneaky and pisses people off

you can make your own armor, you can only make splitbark and thats too expensive

the tzhaar obby rings are amazing (flying frisbees of death)

its easier and more fun to make a pure ranger than mage

darts and knives are fastest weapons in game both range weapons

    1 word cannon

seercull is dropped only by the dag kings, some of the strongest monsters in game

its the hunter xbow not the hunter staff (kebbit bolts are amazing)

there are no staves with special attacks that can be used to cast spells

ranger armor doesnt make you look like a pansey (your wearing dresses for gods sake)

Your armor is made from animals you killed showing your prowess

    bows are lighter than staves

exploding rat grenades (first offensive explosion weapon)

I believe there is no need to continue

I see that you have a very good point there. Lots of things about range are good. But you failed to mention how good ancients is. I mean if i have 94 mage no matter how much magic def bonus you have is going to save you from getting frozen. And how is full ahrims walking around in a dress. :-s #-o

but you also need to remember that even though they might be frozen, they still can shoot your butt off, i have ancients and its fun, but range is range. Like i said. I can still shoot you and ahrims robe skirt. key word skirt. skirt is a short dress. Point proven once again
