essentially, a music cape would in fact just be another quest cape. In order to have all the music, you must have completed a majority, if not all of the quest. A good chunk of the music says unlock during "quest name" and a majority of the music can only be unlocked by going to certain places that require a quest to get there. (priest in peril, fremmrick isles, etc) therefore i doubt there will be a music cape because of that

The ruins with the voices are just located in what was once Zaros' realm. It could of been a small village of his that was taken out during the God Wars or some random people that lived there and got caught up in the mess of things. Either way, that location seems to not have been important to Zaros as there is no teleport there. Bit of back history for you all:
Zarosian Empire at its peak, consisted of today's Wilderness, Northern Misthalin, Northern Asgarnia and Northern Morytania. Its southern reaches were coast of a southern sea.
During the God Wars, the followers of Zaros struggle against the fury of the other gods that all fight for control over the Zarosian empire, the Zarosians are forced to flee into the desert and live as bandits.
Originally Zaros was worshiped by an unknown empire in the north east of RuneScape and the city of Uzer, however the empire has been destroyed by Zamorak and Saradomin while Uzer was destroyed by Thammaron, one of Zamorak's generals. Most traces of the Zaros religion, such as altars and temples, have been destroyed by Saradomin and Zamorak, however there are two known altars remaining: one underneath the Digsite and another in Azzanadra's temple. On the Ancient Spellbook, 4 teleports that lead to different levels of the Wilderness are also destroyed grounds of Zarosian worship, Carrallangar, Ghorrock, Annakarl and Dareeyak. The other teleports, Ice Mountain (Lassar), Canifis Pub (Kharyrll) and Edgeville (Paddewwa) were important military and defence fortresses, but the Digsite is referred to ancient name as Senntisten, which was also the largest Zarosian city. Azzanadra and Akthanakos are the only current non-player character worshippers of Zaros. It is also rumoured that Sliske also supports Zaros, but that hasn't been confirmed.
On the subject of Sliske, he mentions to the Barrows Brothers that because he provided them with their powerful weapons and armor, after a while, they will have to serve him and his God, the Empty Lord. The Empty Lord is a term that is sometimes used to refer to Zaros. This is why it is believed that Sliske is a follower of Zaros.

I've been to gwd dungeon to check door
I've went all through gwd with visibility
I've been through the majority of runescape with visibility

[hide=pictures from cache !SPOILER!]

could be a sail or a harp my bets are still towards sail, there are too many hints towards sails
-
forum mod tott paula moved a sailing skill thread from where ever it was to future updates, which is a place for just announced future updates. If it wasn't an acutual future update, it wouldn't have been moved.
thread code
16-17-295-57091394
mod on page three read that though page 4
-
theres too many thigns that point towards sailing
The unidentifiable cape on a guy on a boat.
The Kudos Island, large ship being built
The leaked picture which many people have seen themselves, not just a picture. Go to rsof, people keep talking about the highscores
the pirates of the carribean references distract you from me stealing all you gold, trust a dishonest man to be dishonest i'm pretty sure is a reference to poc as well
dont you think that if we weren't on to something they would close all the threads on sailing?
an why couldn't sailing be a skill? it takes a great amount of skill to be able to actually sail a boat, like a boat with a sail
come on people look at the evidence

gwd door is still frozen was just there. No ghost, had my ring of visibility on the entire time
-
you cant pick up the staff of armdayll i've already tried. I've also checked in with Lucien, he doesn't say anything new either. Someone go check that door in godwars
-
i know what staff it is
-
temple of ikov=bust
lucien=bust
-
well i've done my research. The Wilderness was originally home to those who worshipped Zaros, and when Zaros faded from Runescape, Saradomin and Zamorak went to the wilderness and with the help of Bandos and Armadyl, wiped the alst remnants of Zaros from there.
I've have also found the important Zarosian locations
Ice Mountain
Canifis (around the pub area)
Edgeville
Graveyard of Shadows
Ice Plateau
Demonic Ruins
Ruins with the Anvil
Digsite
Those are all the ancient magic teleports
also the temple of Uzer was an important Zarosian city
The bandits still follow zaros as can be found out during dt as one of them gives you an ancient staff
I'm thinking that all of those places need to be checked, as well as talking to the bandits
I also think that we should locate bob because he is zaros. He provides three hints towards it.
Also, the godwars temple should be checked out as zaros was wiped out during it
also i think we should also check the temple of ikov because its where the staff of armadyll was found originally. Also check with lucien if he is still alive
ready, break
-
well like i said in previous posts, i did check so places not in wild.
check with khazards ghost, hazelmere, and the ghost that replaces the shadow sword, but none of them gave me any new information
gonna go check the digsite, the wilderness was Zaros' land afterall
edit: digsite seems to be a bust, gonna keep looking
-
been to both graveyards nothing, picked up all the skulls, nothing
I'm there right now world 46, if anyone cares to look with me, bring supplies as there tends to be a rev ork that shows up on occasion
-
i'm gonna go talk to khazard again see if hes got anything interesting to say
anyone remember what Hazelmere said about you after the most recent gnome quest? We'll be going into the wilderness dressed like evil people but not actually evil. Khazard said that they were meeting in the north. I think this might be related
khazard armor did get an update dont forget
edit: Khazard says nothing new
edit: Nothing new from Hazelmere
edit: Ghost in goblin cave that replaces sword is not helpful
-
I think you guys are overreacting.
The same thing happens in the Underground Pass.
Underground pass 2!!!
but seriously, its not in the same manner. In underground pass, the guy is like trying to drive you nuts or convert you, this whatever it is, is reaching out to someone for help, not to hinder. PLus in the underground pass, the person contacting you (iban) was alive. This thing is obviously dead as we need a ghostspeak ammy to hear it
-
ill go back with my cat. See if it has anything interesting to say
edit: dropped kitten and wily hellcat, said nothing out of the ordinary. I'm would bet its not the devourer as a ghost speak ammy is needed
-
i went to the library in varrock and couldnt find any new books, i went through all the bookcases in edgeville as well as the monestary. Zilch. Anyone remember anything about a beast in the wild from any quests? Maybe it involves that dark squall guy?
-
Myself as well as three other adventurers spent 3 hours going to all the different locations of the wild. Nothing else spoke that we could find. These are the place we visited:
Anvil Ruins
New?? Volcano in top right of wild
Church in level 40 something
Ruins in top right of wild (without name)
Graveyard in west wild
Nothing else spoke. It was a pain though considering that they were all 90 and below and I had to kill rev after rev. I think i totaled 7 rev kills that day. Anchor ftw! I don't remember the volcano being there though. There is also a east bound ship beached up there.

Don't know if this has been said yet, but a good way to update firemaking would be to light weapons on fire. You could use the chemist still thing to make oil, and with a high enough firemaking level, put it on the weapon, then light it up. It could work like crystal where it would loose fuel after a while a go out. Better firemaking equals longer lasting fires and higher weapon that can be lit.
Flaming Whip anyone?
